Home to over 120 native plant species and colourful bird life, surrounded by abundant marine life. Full and half day options available. Your day can be as active or as relaxing as you choose.

4.00Very well organized tour , started on time , enjoyable day.. walked the island , snorkeled in the designated areas( great views of the reef) , took the glass bottom boat tour as well , captain was very knowledgeable and gave good commentary during the tour ,, took the early boat back ( basically 6 hours there and back ) plenty of time .. more activities available for a price of course , everything is a la carte , you pay for whatever you want to do , go up if g t a bit pricey…

5.00Excellent tour for limited time in Cairns very organized . Recommend paying for guided snorkeling out in the sea with marine biologists to see and learn so much more. Cara our guide was excellent conscientious and gave great information. She loves what she does and it showed! Good ROI for extra expense. Also we are glad we bought the underwater picture package not cheap but the professional pictures so much clearer than our rented underwater camera. It was great to be at Green Island with excellent facilities.

4.00The snorkeling was fantastic. I saw many various species of fish plus sharks. Turtles were great. The glass bottom boat was okay. The host was very knowledgeable. I would have a little more time.

3.00Green Island for snorkeling we found overrated. It is not very much snorkeling area and this one was disappointing. The changing areas were cramped and messy. There was only ONE open shower for everyone!!!! Walking across/around the island or relaxing on the beach is nice. The ship and island staff were very friendly. The organization of the day was also good - snorkel rental, glass bottom boat.

5.00Green Island is small but has all the charm of a tropical island. Colorful fish and turtles/rays can be seen snorkeling along the beach. The glass bottom boat is very interesting especially for children. The only downside is the world there is. I didn’t expect so many of us on the ferry and it was October

5.00This was amazing and recommended for anyone. We saw a lot of sea life just departing off the boat walking along the jetty. The glass boat showed us so many amazing creatures. We snorkeled and saw such diverse ocean life.

3.00Entertaining catamaran ride to the island and back. The crew was very friendly and accommodating. The trip by glass bottom boat was interesting to see the underwater world of the reef. However, the explanations of the boatmaster were too intense and tiring. The stay on Green Island was disappointing as the gastronomy and the entire area including pool were very unkempt. In addition, you have to accept the guano smell. With these trip costs, the whole thing was unsatisfactory.
