  We were told the day prior to the trip that we would be picked up at the beach, weather permitting. Although the weather was rainy we ended up being picked up anyway. We verified that the trip was for SNUBA, and the boat captain said yes; we were the only customers on the boat. After this, the experience was DOWNHILL. The captain picked up 2 families with very young children (ages 3-7), and a few other adults clearly they were not there to SNUBA. Our advertised 1.5 hr SNUBA turned into a 3.5 hour trip to include a shipwreck sighting, and another trip to Iguana island which we had already been to the prior day- basically because of the weather, the tour operator chose to put us on a different trip, WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION AND FAILED TO LET US KNOW UNTIL WE WERE OUT ON THE OPEN WATER. In addition, we were the only 2 people on the boat that planned to do the SNUBA, and subsequently, I felt very rushed with the “rules of how to even do it, paired with the choppy waters due to the weather, I felt it wasn’t a safe thing to do, and chose not to do it. My husband did try it for a few minutes but found that it wasn’t ideal way to learn how to do it for the first time. The tour operator chose to deceive us by purposely not telling us that we got combined with a DIFFERENT tour so that they didn’t have to cancel. It’s DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICE, and for that, this isn’t over, from a reimbursement standpoint.

  The scuba guide was very awesome. He allowed time for acclimation and was very reassuring once I got the hang of it. (I think he could tell I was nervous). 10/10 definitely recommend

  Everything was very smooth. We got a call the day before confirming pick up location and time. We were picked up by boat. The snuba instruction was very clear and the instructor helped us getting up to speed quickly. We enjoyed our time in the water very much. Great views! After the activity was over, we were dropped at our hotel by taxi. Overall, super fun experience!
