A stimulating and ambitious introduction to the many lives of “Dilli” re-lived in true DBC style: through the many lanes of Delhi – the Nizamuddin tour leads you through a city of mystics, saints, poets, rebels, forgotten Kings, English ladies, refugee colonies and nameless tombs – all buried in the giddying contrast offered by the upscale South Delhi neighbourhoods. Starting in the over-700-year-old settlement of Nizamuddin this tour hacks its way through the 21st-century concrete jungle and flashy lights of South Delhi to show you a city alive in unimaginable fragments.
The tour is 15 km long and includes tea and breakfast in the lush Lodhi Gardens. It is offered in the mornings (all through the year) and afternoons (from October till April only). DelhiByCycle is proud to have partnered with the Nizamuddin settlement based NGO – Hope Project, for this tour. Hope supports the local community of Nizamuddin in health care and education.

We had a great time with Jehu as our guide - he's very nice and made the ride super fun! The bikes were comfy and in good shape. The 3.5-hour ride went by quickly, it was relaxing and really enjoyable. Me and friends would definitely recommend - 10/10! However I feel the process could be a bit less, considering that you are promoting cycling, and for more people to join (also second and more timers) the fee should be reasonable and not only for 1 time experience.

Ashutush was excellent in guiding us to South Delhi. He has a lot of knowledge and he was very good at passing the information and also not too much of it. He was conscientious of the safety aspect and keeping us as a group to give us the information. The love of his country was apparent his personal demeanour was wonderful to be with on our last day in India.

During the South Delhi Cycle Tour you explore Delhi beyond the usual tourist spots. This experience combines history, street art, culture, local flavor - all on two wheels. Ashutosh, our guide set the tone with his warm, enthusiastic welcome and deep knowledge of the city’s heritage. Our second guide (we forgot his name) was there for our safety so that we could cross the crowded streets in the crazy traffic jam. It was a very hot, but incredible nice cycle tour in the late afternoon. The tour was a „private tour“ just for our family (2 adults, 2 kids - 12 & 15 years old). The company DelhiByCycle also has bikes for kids and offers water bottles for the tour. You can store your things, e.g. little bag/backpack, water bottles in the bicycle basket. Thanks again, Ashutosh and second guide, for an incredible experience.

A great way to experience Delhi. Lots of fun, the bike ride is definitely an adventure, and we saw beautiful sights we might not have otherwise seen. Ashutosh was a great guide! Informative and engaging.

The overall experience was too fulfilling with Manan as guide who explained the different art forms on Lodhi street to various historical monuments. It was fun to ride with my son and meet people from different areas who had gathered to make their Sunday different.
