The food was excellent. I liked being showed an area outside of old town. I liked the explanations of the food and the history of the area. Thank you for the awesome experience.

A great tour. Learned a lot about Swedish food, culture and history. Cotton was a wonderful host of the city.

A truly excellent experience where food served as a lens to discover Swedish society and history. A big thank you to our guide Therese for her kindness and all the juicy anecdotes. Finishing with a Semla pastry was the perfect touch. Nadiya and Frederic.

You get to taste the food the locals eat. We were able to taste many things and perhaps more licorice than we bargained for. We learned the history of many of the dishes we ate. The tour lasted 4 hours and we walked at least 3 miles.

The first stop was the most interesting. The fish market underground was ok, shame there wasn’t an outdoor place. Guide spent most of his time on his phone walking between locations, walking well ahead of the group he even walked into a post while in his phone! He was informative but he was distant, it felt like he didn’t want to be there even though he said he loved chatting to guests … he didn’t. I felt there could have been some more interesting spots to stop in this amazing city for the cost of the tour.

Cotton, our tour guide, was the epitome of passion and knowledge when it came to his home country and its native cuisine. His enthusiasm was palpable at every food hall stop, where he delved into the significance of each dish and the history behind it. After savoring each delectable bite, the tour concluded at a cozy cafe, where Cotton stayed to engage in friendly conversations and share his local recommendations. It felt like we were not just on a guided tour, but as friends with a local insider. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour with Cotton!

Quiva (Spelling?) was so great! Always smiling and very patient with everyone in our group. The food was good and she did such a good job of describing what we were enjoying, how it was made, why it's special, and a little history along the way.

Great thing to do in the first couple of days you get a good insight into local traditional foods plus a good orientation of the city. Our guide was so knowledgeable and clearly a passionate Swede I thoroughly enjoyed it. Meatballs were amazing!

Good was kind of less than typical for food tours I’ve been on in past. Variety was good - but I thought the amount of locations could have varied more (5/6 were in two food halls). The guide was great.
