Relax, paddle, and enjoy a breathtaking sunrise over the beautiful Bacalar Lagoon first thing in the morning. You'll be greeted with world-class views, tranquility and peaceful natural sounds right from your SUP (Stand-Up-Paddleboard).
Upon arriving at Black Cenote, you'll be greeted with a relaxing break and a serene spot to soak up the views. Best of all, we will be sure to take even more high-quality photos you can cherish forever.
This adventure sport is a return to nature, which means there will be no disturbing noises from boats or other tourists. Feel free to join whether you are an absolute beginner or a seasoned pro.
With one bilingual instructor per 5 participants, you will be sure to receive the service you deserve.

What To Expect
The appointment is at The Yak Lake House, we will welcome you with a cup of freshly brewed coffee. We use this time to teach you the basics on Stand Up Paddle-board, and to make sure that everyone is ready to start.
Lake Bacalar
Paddle across the lagoon first thing in the morning, and visit the Black Cenote and the Pirates Canal. Whether you are beginner or not, our professional instructors will help you to improve your paddle technique all along the tour.

We did the paddleboard tour at dawn with Vicky, who was very kind in explaining the basics of using the paddleboard and then guided us on the tour of the lagoon (cenote and canal). Friendly and very knowledgeable, she shared interesting facts about the lagoon, both natural and historical. Definitely recommended!! Thank you.

5.00Vicky was our instructor, and the truth is that she is an expert who patiently provides all the tips to make the excursion more enjoyable. It was a super nice experience, and it was my first time. I would do it again.
Check in coffee ☕️, gear up and start paddling to chase the sunset. Cenote Negro and fruit snacks on the water.

5.00The tour was given to us by Luis, who is a very kind and respectful guide, and he provided detailed explanations of everything. The package included fruit and a kayak trip; we watched the sunrise and visited the mangroves. I highly recommend it.

5.00It was amazing! It was the first time I did the paddleboard but the instructions were very clear. Luis and Ashley were amazing tourguides who gave you tips and tricks how to paddleboard and gave you information (in a chill and funny way) about the things we saw on the tour. They also took pictures of us which we received later. We took a break in the shallows with fresh, delicious fruit. And ofcourse the sunrise was beautiful as well, it's was definitly worth it to get up early.

5.00We had a lovely morning tour to watch the sunrise. I think it’s definitely a must do if in Bacalar. This time of day is ideal as it can be quite tiring but was so worth it. The tour itself was about 3 hours and we then had breakfast included after that. Luis and Ashley were hilarious, made the experience so much more memorable. Luis was so knowledgable about the area and history and made us all laugh throughout. Great value for money, would highly recommend.

5.00A great tour that is truly worth its price. A long tour with plenty of information and a big breakfast + a snack with fruit in the middle of the tour. We also had the opportunity to get plenty of photos for free. Thanks to Luis and Vicky, who are two amazing guides, very kind, attentive, and interesting.
