Good environment, friendly staff and a great place to relax. I found that the resort is not well lit in some places making it a little scary.

It was a very thoughtfully arranged tour. We had two opportunities to snorkel. We saw the Komodo dragons, watched a gorgeous sunset, and saw the flying foxes. The staff was thoughtful, organized, and fun to be around. The prepared food (lunch and then a late snack) was delicious. As a single traveler, I was welcomed, and the experience itself brought all the guests together. I fully recommend this to you.

Everything went smoothly on the tour. The guides were kind and felt it was a very good tour. If there's one thing I'd point out, snorkeling isn't that beautiful, so I think swapping it for Pink Beach and all that would increase the number of participants.

Such a pleasant tour! Even tho the tour duration is short, i felt satisfied with the tour bcs Alex, our tour guide did such a great job. He went out of his way to show us sea creatures in snorkeling. The komodo park is much better than the other tour. Love it

I booked the Sunset at Komodo tour through TripAdvisor, and I couldn’t be more pleased with everything. The itinerary included stops at Kelor Island, Manjarite Beach, Rinca Island (where the Komodo dragons are), and a sail along Kalong Island to see the flying foxes/bats during the sunset. The itinerary was executed exactly as stated. I was picked up at my hotel at 11am. We stopped to pick up guests at other hotels before making our way to the harbor . We were swiftly shown to our comfortable boat for our group of 15 passengers. The boat was large enough to accommodate everyone, and we never felt crowded. Additionally, there were two bathrooms, which included showers for washing up after the beach. Very comfortable. Our guides were informative, friendly, and always more than willing to take pictures when asked. The highlights of the tour for me were the stops at Rinca Island where we saw dragons, and watching the Flying Foxes during sunset. Simply stunning. From start to finish, professional. I was back at my hotel around 7:30pm. I would definitely recommend this tour with Explorcation. *****

I liked the tour. The guide Alex was excellent: very engaging, helpful, and knowledgeable. The first stop: Kelor Island. It is a small island. Many boats stop there mainly for lunch. The short and steep trail leads to the top of the island – good vista. Nice sandy beach with baby sharks (black tip). Few souvenir stalls and eateries. The next is Manjarite Beach – snorkeling spot. Snorkeling here is ok. Not spectacular. The next is a long ride to Rinca island. In our case, the ride took even lomger as the boat required some repairs. The island is very dramatic. We arrived at Rinca 10 min before they close at 4:30pm. Fortunately the crew probably called, so they were waiting for us. It turned out the delay was a blessing in disguise as we had a brand new 3 years old park for us only. The long wooden walkways, the new park center. We followed a ranger to the forest. We were lucky to see two Komodo lizards – one was a large male hiding from the sun in a walkway shadow. Another was a far smaller young female exploring territory, drinking from waterhole, demonstrating Jurassic Park poses for the cameras, etc. The last stop was by Kalong island. No landing, only standing and observing the bats night flight. Very impressive. Overall it is an excellent trip. I strongly recommend it.

This day trip was great. Rinca Island was not busy and we saw 6 Komodo Dragons. The boat crew were engaging and attentive. We finished the day off with an awesome sight of the bats flying out of the mangroves.
