Get ready for an unforgettable surfing adventure in the beautiful waves of Tamarindo! Here’s what you can expect during your 2-hour surf lesson with Ronaldo: 1. On Land Instruction (15-20 minutes) Before hitting the water, we’ll start with a quick land-based lesson. Ronaldo will teach you the basics: - How to position yourself on the surfboard - Proper paddling techniques - How to stand up and balance on the board This ensures you’re prepared and confident when you enter the water. 2. 90 Minutes of Hands-On Surfing We’ll head into the water for 90 minutes of surfing. Ronaldo will guide you every step of the way as you practice catching waves, improving your technique, and building your confidence. For beginners: You’ll learn the fundamentals—how to safely catch your first wave and stand up on the board. For intermediate surfers: Ronaldo will offer tips and feedback to help you improve your skills and tackle more challenging waves. Your lesson includes everything you need for a safe and enjoyable experience: Surfboard Rash guard What to Bring Just bring a swimsuit, sunscreen, and a positive attitude—we’ll handle the rest!

5.00Ronaldo is the ONLY tour guide you need! He hooked up horseback riding, a day long boat adventure, and even a local rodeo! Incredible guy do not miss it!! He is a local and knows everybody if he doesn’t have what you’re looking for it doesn’t exist.

5.00Ronaldo is great!! He was super friendly and had great options for surf lessons. He was able to accommodate my busy schedule while I was there and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We were able to work on some intermediate surfing techniques as well. We will definitely use and recommend him in the future to all our friends coming to visit. Pura Vida!!

5.00What an incredible experience. Surfing has always been a bucket list dream but starting at a beginner’s level was always an intimidating obstacle. My partner and I were walking along the beach when we met Ronaldo. He’s got to be THE most patient instructor we’ve had the pleasure of learning from. He walked us step-by-step through the basics on shore, leading up to shallow water and then hitting the waves, he created this effective transition. Nothing but smiles for my partner and myself, we had so much fun. The next you find yourself in Tamarindo, please seek him out. I forgot to mention how much money we saved choosing him over the other surf instructions. We saved big! Thank you Ronaldo for an unforgettable surf experience!

5.00We had a two-hour surf lesson with Ronaldo today and we were super happy! He explained everything clearly and showed us the techniques in a very practical way, so we could really learn a lot. The lesson was not only very instructive but also full of fun and good vibes. Ronaldo has a great way of teaching the basics and at the same time making sure you feel comfortable in the water and make real progress. You can see that he teaches with passion and joy. We would definitely recommend him and would love to come back again. Pura Vida! 🌴✨

5.00Ronaldo went above and beyond everyday. Taught my 16 year old to surf. Made sure we were getting the best waves at the best times. Also helped when we had questions about the area and the best places to go. Treated us like good friends and family whenever we saw him. Highly recommend him for all ages- was fantastic with our friends young kids.

5.00I did 3 surf lessons with Ronaldo and each time was with a different board. He helped me pick out new boards to try and by the end of 3 lessons I had improved greatly! He helps you get past the breaking waves safely, helps you understand how to read the wave, and I will forever hear his advice and encouragement in my head every time I surf now. Can’t wait to go back and surf with him again!
