We are approved by Ministry of Tourism of Dominican Republic and will make sure you surf safely while having fun in the water. We are located at beautiful Playa Encuentro, Cabarete, Dominican Republic. This surf spot offer warm water consistent waves all year round. 5.00My daughter (20s) and I (60s) went for a lesson and had a great time. It was my first time. The theory on shore was easy to understand. We went into the water and my instructor was patient as I tried again and again until I made it up. What fun when I finally surfed! Do go here if you want to learn to surf.

5.00I visited Cabarete Surf Company for a surf lesson. The experience was great, the explanations were very easy to understand (in both English and Spanish), and the instructors Joel and Orlando were excellent, friendly, and very patient. I would definitely go back

5.00Instructors were excellent. Quick on land lesson followed by in water help. Can use the board after the lesson is done. They provide a long sleeve shirt and water shoes in addition to the board. Even let one of us not surfing borrow shoes since the ocean floor is rocky at Encuentro Beach. Fabulous experience, we came back a second day to continue! Highly recommend!

5.00As a newbie to surfing I had a lesson on my first day with Oppo. Great instructor with simple and easy feedback which made me catch waves on the first day already. The days after I tried multiple boards and received great advise in between the sessions from everyone at the school. Great environment, friendly people and everyone is willing to help you with surfing - and non-surfing related questions! Can totally recommend and will definitely come back ❤️

5.00I’ve always wanted to learn how to surf. Cabarete Surf Company is the best. I took 3 lessons with Orlando (who was fabulous) and am well on my way. Everyone here is relaxed, encouraging and very good at what they do. They have a good selection of gear. Lessons and rentals include shoes and rash guards which is nice. There are places to practice on land in the shade and food and drink options close by. Great for kids and adults. Solo or group.
