We went on the tour to celebrate our son’s 18th birthday. We had a great time and our tour guide was outstanding! She was very knowledgeable about the area and was even able to answer questions we had about the history of the places we visited. She was incredibly friendly, making our adult children feel comfortable and at ease. Most importantly, our birthday kid had a wonderful birthday experience, and noted that he especially liked our tour guide, which is BIG praise from a teenage boy. Thank you so much for offering this experience!

There is no better way to get to know San Miguel! The combination of food, drink, tour and most importantly history and culture was NEXT LEVEL! Sam was amazing! His enthusiasm for the history and culture was contagious. The food and places he selected reflected the town - past and present! Truly one of the best tours we have ever been on and we have coming here for more than a decade. Thank you!

We had such a fun time! We are not big tequila drinkers so we were a little worried it would be just shots at each location so we were pleasantly surprised that mostly it was a drink made with tequila at each stop. The fruitas Rojas margarita was amazing! All of the tacos we ate were really good. Jessica did a great job with going over each item plus adding some history of the town. We had a fun group of people too which was a bonus.

I was a bit worried that this event might be a bit of a “bar crawl”, but was happily surprised that instead our guide Sam made it a fun, informative evening —with delicious bites, a combination of great margaritas and individual shots of Mezcal, and the fascinating history behind them all, as well as some additional stories and insider tidbits about SMA itself! We had a great group of people too—what a fun night out!

This tour is amazing. You get to try local foods, drink tequila and mezcal straight or in margaritas, and learn some fascinating history of San Miguel de Allende! Our guide Sam was fabulous! Our only regret was not taking this tour on the first day of our stay so that we would find out where to go and what to do from a local.

Mary was an absolutely incredible tour guide! From start to finish, she made our Tacos and Tequila Tour unforgettable. She was not only awesome to spend time with, but also extremely knowledgeable about the local food, history, and culture. Her energy, insights, and genuine passion made the experience fun, engaging, and delicious. Highly recommend this tour and especially Mary to anyone looking for a fantastic time!
