Mary was a fantastic guide. A wealth of historical information and also an expert on tequila and margaritas! This is a fun tour and I highly recommend it. The tacos at each stop were incredible! My only criticism is the title of the tour. I thought it would be tastings of individual tequilas based on the title but it's really a variety of margaritas and only a couple of tequila tastings. But who cares, most people love drinking margaritas vs straight tequila anyway, and we loved it. The title "tacos and tequila" flows much better than tacos and margaritas! This was great mix of San Miguel history and food/ margaritas. We all thought it was very much worth it!

Omar was great and his commentary often bent the history discussion towards the history of food in Mexico which was a really interesting angle. Great mix of foods and drinks including beer tequila and mescal. Felt like we went to more places than advertised. Your fun may depend on your group (ours was great) but who signs up for tacos and tequila if they aren't down for fun? Definitely recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Tacos and Tequila tour. It was the perfect way to begin our vacation here. Our guide Mary was entertaining and highly knowledgeable- she knows her history (!!) as well as the food scene in San Miguel. So glad we decided to pursue this tour!!

Excellent and Fun Tour . Our guide Mary Farrell was both informative and fun. The tour combined Mezcal, and Tequila as well as enough different foods to keep it different. We all commented on how much fun we had.

A really excellent value for the cost. Omar was an awesome host. We drank Tequila and mezcal and ate tacos in a a number of local places. Omar had a great insight into the history of Mexico as a country and also the history of native Mexican anthropology. I'd echo another review in saying that my only regret is not being able to do the tour on our first night here (late bus). The tour company was super friendly and easy to reschedule with.

I loved each place; wonderful array of venues with delicious food and drinks. It was such a cool way to experience my 2nd night in San Miguel de Allende. I highly recommend this tour. It’s one of the best I’ve experienced.
