Explore Tahiti on a half-day exploration on the coast of your choice. Depending on your preferences, opt for the wilder, greener East Coast or the West Coast, famous for its beaches and spectacular sunsets. If you choose the East Coast, you will be immersed in a wilderness where the mountains flow into the ocean. You will discover the mythical Point Venus and its historic lighthouse, the impressive cliffs sculpted by wind and waves, and the peaceful waterfalls hidden in the heart of tropical vegetation. If you opt for the West Coast, the journey will take you along white sandy beaches and crystal clear lagoons. Stop at the Maraa Caves, mysterious cavities surrounded by greenery, at the Tahiti Museum (optional), then continue to the famous surf spots, where the waves come to embrace the reef with power. And finally, you will end up with the Vahipai Water Garden.

Tahiti South West Coast Private Half Day Tour

5.00This review is of the second half day of our tour with Maxim I. This tour was of the southern island, Tahiti Iti. Max continued with his enlightenment Tahiti and Polynesia as we toured the southern island. We even learned a few Tahitian words. Max is very accommodating. We had a flight that evening, so we carried out luggage with us. Max saw to it that we got there on time. We drove all the way down the coast of the island to the site of the 2024 Surfing Olympics at Teahupoʻo reef pass. Max was deservedly proud of the fact that there were staged in Tahiti.

5.00Outstanding half day seeing West Coast. Nice variety of sites to visit, including beaches, gardens, waterfalls, and caves. Guide was extremely knowledgable about the history and the vegetation. Guide was very friendly and communicated well.

5.00We cannot recommend this tour enough! It was a great way to see the island without renting a car. We did the four hour, east coast option. Philippe was a wonderful guide, he shared a lot of local insight coupled with humor. Our trip was private and just the four of us in a beautiful AC’d BMW. He picked us up at the hotel directly and was happy to drop us in the city center afterwards when we requested. He has a full day option that also includes a boat ride to see the surfer in the huge waves. We didn’t go this time around but definitely will next time!

5.00Our tour guide and driver, Édouard, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and always had something interesting to tell us. He seemed like an expert on local plants, trees, and flowers as well as pearl production. It was a nice comfortable car with good A!C. He tailored the 1/2 day tour to our liking and was efficient every step of the way. I would recommend this tour and provider. One suggestion is to use name signs at the port for easy identification.

5.00My husband, cousin, his wife and myself went on this tour together. The van was plenty big and super comfortable. Our guide took us to places that were beautiful and explained so many things we saw. He was fantastic. Would strongly recommend this tour.
