5.00Naomi was a fantastic instructor! We arrived a few minutes early and Naomi was already set up for us, and our class included a fun drink at the cafe. My son is interested in calligraphy, and I was just along for the ride. Naomi made the class a lot of fun for both of us. She went through the different styles of calligraphy and the techniques. In the end we were given a scroll and a lesson in how to write a chosen phrase we could hand on our wall. We had a great time!

5.00My wife and I had a wonderful experience learning calligraphy from Teresa! She is knowledgeable, patient, kind, and a wonderful teacher. She not only taught technique but also history, and she made it fun and very enjoyable. At the end of the sessi9n, I got to write two of my favorite characters and take home a framed canvas of my writing, which was really cool. Recently, I've also been working with Teresa on a custom piece of calligraphy. She did an amazing job creating a beautifully written seal. She is a true artist and expert. Highly recommend Teresa and this experience in Taipei!

5.00An amazing workshop which gives you a nice combination of listening and learning on the one hand and a serene activity on the other. Ruby was very friendly and knew a lot about the techniques and history of calligraphy. One of the best experiences of my Taiwan trip!

5.00Besides the careful way of teaching, the explanation is very easy to understand because it is done while looking at a large monitor. Also, since the instructors are professional, I really like the fact that when it comes to practical skills, you can feel their seriousness. It is close to the NPM and I would like to go again.

5.00I went into this workshop already knowing some Chinese but Ginn really expanded upon my knowledge base! Apart from being a knowledgeable instructor, she’s also very patient and overall lovely. She took my interests into account, and the tea served as delicious. It was a great, relaxing way to spend a rainy Taipei afternoon.

5.00We learnt the history of Chinese calligraphy which has thounsabds of years history. Firstly, we went through different styles of the Chinese calligraphy. Secondly, we trained calligraphy writing. Lastly, we made our masterpiece. Nice and eyes opening experience.

My group was entirely inexperienced with Chinese and calligraphy but loved learning about the different styles and history from the lecture and had so much fun practicing with all of Theresa’s exercises (she’s a spectacular teacher) ! Her aids Tom Michael and Jin were also so kind, supportive, and informative! We each got to take home a scroll we wrote a message on as well! Great for all ages
