Welcome to Tanzania! Upon your arrival at either Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), a friendly guide will be there to offer a warm welcome before transferring you to your mid-range hotel in Arusha, such as the comfortable Planet Lodge. The remainder of the day is flexible, depending on your arrival time. If you arrive early, you will have time to relax before we offer an optional city tour. This is a great opportunity to experience local life, explore bustling markets like the Maasai Market, central food market and see key landmarks like the Clock Tower and the Cultural Heritage Centre. In the evening, we will return to the hotel for a delicious dinner and a briefing about the exciting safari adventure that awaits you the following day.

Tarangire National Park

After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, we will begin our first safari adventure. At approximately 8:00 AM, we will depart for Tarangire National Park, a journey of about two hours. This park is renowned for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Upon arrival, we'll immediately begin a thrilling game drive, exploring the park's diverse landscapes in search of wildlife. For lunch, we will find a scenic and popular picnic spot within the park to enjoy a hot meal packed by our chef. Afterward, the afternoon game drive continues, offering more opportunities to spot an incredible array of animals, including lions, giraffes, and various antelopes. As the sun begins to set, we will leave the park and drive to your excellent mid-range lodge in the nearby area for dinner and a well-deserved rest.

Lake Manyara National Park

After a delightful breakfast, our safari continues as we drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a jewel of the Northern Circuit. Famous for its tree-climbing lions and stunning birdlife, including flamingos that flock to its alkaline waters, the park offers a fantastic game drive through its diverse habitats. We'll enjoy a scenic hot lunch at one of the park's designated picnic sites before continuing our wildlife exploration. In the late afternoon, we'll drive to the serene Marera Valley Lodge in Karatu, where you can relax, enjoy a superb dinner, and prepare for our journey to the iconic Serengeti National Park the following day.

Serengeti National Park

Begin your Day 4 adventure with an early breakfast at your hotel in Karatu before embarking on a breathtaking drive to the heart of the Serengeti. This scenic journey is an experience in itself, taking you through the stunning Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you might be lucky enough to spot some wildlife en route, and past a traditional Maasai village, offering a cultural glimpse into their timeless way of life. Arriving in the Central Serengeti, you will stop for a delightful hot picnic lunch amidst the wild plains. The afternoon is dedicated to an exhilarating game drive, where you'll explore the iconic savannah in search of the "Big Five" and a diverse array of other animals. As the sun begins to set, you will find the perfect vantage point to witness a spectacular Serengeti sunset, casting a golden glow across the endless plains. Finally, you will drive to the mid-range Embalakai Serengeti Camp for a delicious dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park

Embark on your final full day in the Serengeti with an early morning game drive, offering a prime opportunity to witness the park's predators in action as they return from their nocturnal hunts. After an exhilarating start, you will continue with a game drive until lunch time for a delicious hot lunch to refuel for the afternoon's adventures. The game drive resumes in the afternoon, allowing you to explore new areas of the vast plains, searching for unique wildlife encounters and spectacular photographic moments. As the day draws to a close, you'll drive back to your camp for a final, memorable dinner and overnight stay, cherishing the last moments of your incredible Serengeti safari under the star-filled sky. This day is all about maximizing your time in this world-renowned park, ensuring you leave with a lifetime of unforgettable memories.

Ngorongoro Crater

Start your day with a final breakfast at your Serengeti camp before a scenic drive to the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. The journey itself is a treat, taking you through the diverse landscapes of the Southern Serengeti. Upon arrival, prepare for the ultimate grand finale: a thrilling game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater. This natural amphitheater, teeming with an incredible concentration of wildlife, offers a chance to see the "Big Five" and countless other species in a single day. You will then enjoy a truly unique hot picnic lunch by a hippo pool, a signature safari experience. In the late afternoon, you'll begin your journey back to Karatu, filled with incredible memories of your epic safari, for dinner and a well-deserved overnight stay. This day promises a spectacular and unforgettable conclusion to your safari adventure.

Arusha Region

After a final, delicious breakfast at your hotel in Karatu, your journey concludes with a morning designed for relaxation and last-minute cultural immersion. This day offers a chance to engage in optional activities tailored to your flight schedule, such as a fascinating coffee plantation tour, where you can learn about the journey from bean to cup and sample some of Tanzania's world-renowned coffee. You'll also have the opportunity for some last-minute souvenir shopping, allowing you to take a piece of Africa home with you. Following these enriching experiences, your professional driver will ensure a comfortable and timely transfer to either Arusha Airport (ARK) or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your departure flight.
