What To Expect
Explore Tenerife’s Anaga Mountains and Enchanted Forest on a guided full-day hiking tour with scenic viewpoints, lauri-silva woodland, a cave village, and photo memories. We pick you up from your hotel or apartment and head into Anaga Rural Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Inside the park, we make one or two scenic stops, depending on weather and visibility, to enjoy panoramic views of Tenerife’s landscape. We briefly pass through the Enchanted Forest, a mossy, misty laurel woodland — just enough to feel its magic and take a few memorable photos. Your guide shares stories and insights in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere throughout the day. On the way to a remote area of Anaga, where the main hike begins, you’ll see a cave village carved into the rock — a glimpse into traditional island life. The trail (approx. 7 km, 230 m elevation) winds through ridges, green valleys, and ends along a historic water channel. Moderate difficulty, varied terrain. We enjoy a picnic in nature — in a cave or on a slope, depending on conditions. The hike lasts 3.5–4.5 hours; the full tour takes about 7 hours. After the tour, you’ll receive 20–40 digital photos as a memory of your day in Anaga.

I can recommend this tour to anyone who wants to enjoy nature off the beaten track with a little adventure. With average good fitness, the tour is easy to handle. The guide was very attentive and ensured everyone had a great experience, and ensuring everyone kept up, especially at some of the challenging sections. Sceneries are amazing at mountain tops! 5.00Having booked this trip I still wasn’t sure what to expect having read the reviews. Some say it’s easy some say it’s hard and some say it’s scary!! From my perspective, if you have a degree of fitness it’s not a hard hike in terms of difficulty, however, if you are afraid of heights or the potential of falling then it may have its challenges! All in all it was a wonderful experience, myself and my sister met a small group of lovely people from several different countries and the guide, Alex, was knowledgeable and funny, if a little evasive about timings and fears we may have to tackle lol I would recommend this trip you won’t be disappointed.

5.00We had such a great time on our hike! Alex was very communicative on when and where he would pick us up and was super knowledgeable about a lot of different things regarding Tenerife and Anaga! The hike we went on was beautiful with an ocean view and cool caves and a lunch! Alex made sure everyone was being safe and was such a great host! Highly recommend this experience was a great way to spend the day in Tenerife!
