We had a wonderful time with Alexa and Hector. They made the tour easy to understand and provided insight from the perspective of the indigenous people of the time up until the modern era. Amigo tours provided both English and Spanish translators and Alexa and Hector did a wonderful job translating everything in a professional manner. This was my husband's birthday, it was always his dream to visit the Pyramids and Amigo Tours made it a memorable experience that will last a lifetime. The staff was friendly and accommodating and we highly recommend Amigo Tours to everyone seeking a unique and personalized experience.

The tour itself was very good and the price was great for two days. The buses were nice and the guide Miriam was wonderful! We especially loved the day at UNAM, Frida house and Xochimilco. The only downside was the absolutely chaotic check-in process in the morning. Both days it was so disorganized and they didn’t have us on their lists even though we booked weeks in advance and recd several confirmation messages. Because the morning was such a mess it really delayed the start of the tour by at least an hour and a half.

Nice guide (Alicia), sites worth visiting (mainly Teotihuacan), but the group is so large you feel like you’re being herded. Sometimes it’s easy to miss (or misunderstand) instructions that are hard to hear either because the audio system on the bus isn’t great, or because we’re outside and there are just a lot of people. It was also hard to follow the guide in the more crowded areas. I was surprised they didn’t use any sort of flag or something that we could more easily see. The tour apparently had a lunch option, but I didn’t see anything about that when I booked, so we ended up having to eat separate from the group in a rather expensive touristy restaurant. To be fair it was actually pretty good, but I don’t understand how to get the lunch option. Oh, also there’s some confusion/discrepancy between meeting times in the updates they send you vs what’s on the actual ticket (in the how to get there section). And a lot of the updates they send you contain gibberish (encoded URLs). I don’t know if this is a machine translation issue between systems, but it feels like they don’t actually test the end to end customer experience (or don’t care). And I was a bit surprised that the tour left the meeting spot 10 minutes BEFORE the scheduled departure time. It wasn’t a big deal, but it meant we didn’t have time to grab a bite to eat first, even after waiting in line at the cafe for 10 minutes. Overall I think they could smooth out a few details. Which was also my reaction to a tour from this company in England.

Very memorable. Nice bus, good guides, good drivers. Pleasant experience. Suggestion: Tell your guides to speak slow, so everybody can understand, because eccentric is different and if they speak fast, we find it somewhat difficult to understand them. Some of the spots were not good enough for international tourist, so you can omit them for better places. .
