Had a wonderful experience learning about the history of ancient Mexico and an incredible tequila tasting. I’m so glad we visited a smaller distillery instead of the large commercial ones. The quality of true 100% blue agave tequila was amazing

Don’t hesitate! The entire day was amazing. Daniel was an excellent guide. We thoroughly enjoyed the variety of activities and got a lot of interesting and valuable information about Guachimontones archaeological site, the history of Guadalajara, and the town of Tequila. The artisanal tequila distillery we visited was beautiful. One of the owners at Hacienda Destiladora El Imperio gave us a private tour and tasting. What a treat! We had plenty of time at the destinations and didn’t feel rushed. The van for the day excursion was very comfortable. We highly recommend this tour.

This was an amazing tour! You won’t find anything like it with another tour guide! Daniel knows his history, he has connections with the whole city and surround areas, he has reviews on restaurants, other places to visit once you’ve finished his tour, and answers all questions thoughtfully. If he doesn’t know the answer, he will find it! He is incredibly flexible and a lot do fun! He is a wealth of knowledge and truly is passionate for sharing his beautiful city.

Awesome tour. Daniel Santillan Lara (the guide) was the best! He got us to all the places safely and was very knowledgeable in answering all our many many questions. He was very personable and spoke excellent english. He never rushed us so we all felt like we had the right amount of time at each stop. Highly recommend him.

We highly recommend this tour with Daniel. As we were the only couple that booked the tour, we had Daniel as our private guide. I think that many other tour operators would have cancelled due to not having enough guests to make the tour profitable. Not Daniel! Not only did he not cancel, he allowed us to make changes in the itinerary and catered to everything perfectly. We chose this tour because it included not only Tequila but Guachimontones as well. We spent the entire morning at Guachimontones and really enjoyed how Daniel made everything come alive. We also went to an artisanal tequila distillery that had the best tequila that I have ever tasted and was able to purchase some in a plastic jug that didn't have a label for a fantastic price. Lunch in Tequila was fun and delicious. Thank you, Daniel, for a perfect day

Daniel is a tour guide rock star. It’s not just a job to him, he is passionate about Mexico and its history. See the country through the eyes of someone who cherishes it. He picked me up from my obscure hostel. Plus, he is kind, a good driver and fun. Bonus points because I left my impulsive tourist purchases in his van and he went out of his way to return them to me. Choose Daniel.
