4.00Our guide was great- Virginia! The first stop Eleva, AMAZING! The professor, so full of knowledge and the wines- perfecto! The second stop- I don’t recall the winery name but the owner was Nicola Ferrari. The wine was yummy, food was good, but the downside was we went into the cellar in the basement, and there was black mold all over. My husband asked if it was mold, and Nicola said no, but couldn’t explain it was either. It was obvious it was mold- the smell, the spores, behind the barrels, and on the back basement wall with all the gel like residue- mold. If it was not for the first winery, this review would be way lower. Verona is beautiful btw!

5.00This was a fantastic experience combining a vinyard tour, detailed explanations about the different types of wine produced in the Valpolicella region and a great lunch combining foods typical of the region paired with the Valpolicella wines. Our guide Jacobo was also extremely knowledgeable about the region and provided many good insights about what to look out for or how the wines in the region are unique. I have learnt a lot from this trip and I would certainly recommend this to anyone who wishes to learn more about Italian wine from this region!

5.00Great choice of wineries… I’ve done dozens of wine trips/tours/tastings during my travels, and one of these wineries was among the best I’ve ever visited. Spoiler alert, you’ll enjoy a guided and detailed tasting with a wine maker who has educated many people and taught at university. It’s a treat, highly recommend!
