During this unique experience we explore the city from a point of view of a plague doctor who worked in the city between the years 1713-1715. What can we learn from the plague and how did it finish? What were the prevention methods and how did a typical day of a plague doctor looked like? We visit hidden gems of the city and know the quiet and dark spots of Prague, besides some gruesome facts we also have fun in this experience during the times of the Black Death.

Our Plague Doctor, David, did a fantastic job of explaining the impact of the plague, theories on it's origin and the medical science of the time. We visited various sites in the Old Town that were relevant to the plague. David did a great job of making it an interactive experience. I highly recommend this tour.

If you have any interest in history, public health, or medicine, this tour provides an experience that blends all of these areas against the backdrop of the city of Prague. Our “Plague Doctor” for the evening was Oskar who was extremely articulate and knowledgeable in conveying information with an occasional dash of humor. We learned so much and would highly recommend this your!

Excellent guided tour for anyone wishing to learn more about Prague during the time of the Black Plague. Our guide, David, impressed us with his extensive knowledge of the medicine practiced at that time, as well as of Prague’s medieval history. His storytelling talent captured our attention from the very first anecdotes. In short, we highly recommend it! Eric & Mel from Québec.

Really enjoyed the experience. Creepy in the best way, but also really interesting and fun. The stories were both spooky and funny, while also giving a lot of historical detail about the Black Death and old medical practices. Recommended!
