The Q Train is an award-winning rail restaurant that travels along the historic Bellarine Railway between Drysdale and Queenscliff.
We’re inviting locals and visitors alike to come aboard our restored carriages and enjoy a culinary journey through the Bellarine Peninsula.
Q Class guests are seated in our social dining carriages on tables for 2, 4 and 6. Five courses of local produce are served from the comfort of our refurbished dining cars, providing every customer with a delicious rail journey and unique views of Swan Bay and the Bellarine. Drinks are available to purchase.

What To Expect
The Q Train is a restaurant that travels along the historic Bellarine Railway between Drysdale and Queenscliff. The train usually departs from, and returns to, Drysdale Station, just an easy 15-minute drive from Geelong. However, on select services The Q Train departs from, and returns to, the Queenscliff Railway Station. Never before has Australia seen a heritage rail line used for showcasing local food, wine, beer and cider. We’re inviting locals and visitors alike to come aboard our restored carriages and enjoy a gastronomical journey unlike anything else you have experienced. We are serving local produce on every journey from the comfort of our refurbished dining cars; providing every customer with a delicious rail journey, and unique views of Swan Bay and the Bellarine. Wine and dine in style with The Q Train.

5.00Everybody should board the Q Train. What an enjoyable, relaxing, pampered ride with wonderful, attentive staff who catered for your every need. The food and drinks were amazing, plentiful and all local. A great way to spend an afternoon.

5.00Prior to borading we had a complmentary drink of our choice at Drysden Station. On the train we had a 5 course meal which was delicious. Drink prices are very reasonable onboard. The views are not spectacular but the experience excellent. There was a small technical issue during the trip where we lost power. It was on that stinking hot day of 40 degrees plus which did make it a bit uncomfortable but was rectified reasonably quickly.

5.00The Q train was an amazing experience, tantalising the taste buds along with an introduction to the inspiration of the dish, so you weren’t just eating the food, you were indulging in the wholeness of the experience and the wonderful local produce. The atmosphere and the service was impeccable, including the beautiful landscape of the journey to Queenscliff and return. Highly recommend it be put on everyone’s bucket list 🥰

4.00It's a great experience. The steam train was really exciting to see. The food was amazing and luxurious. The view wasn't always that amazing, but still totally worth it if you want to spoil yourself.
