  Very bad experience. We contacted Viator to take tickets to visit Vesuvius. We have received a confirmation of our reservation on our mailbox with a link to download the tickets number 4 for a visit at 9am We showed up on the site with our tickets downloaded with our mobile. On site we are informed that these are not tickets and that tickets must be sent by WhatsApp via Viator. This platform did not give us any information to that effect, leading us to believe that the downloaded tickets were valid. On the spot we had great difficulty contacting Viator . After several exchanges by phone and then by WhatsApp we ended up getting our 4 tickets on WhatsApp. When we presented ourselves with these tickets at the checkpoint on the site, one of the tickets was refused on the pretext that the time of entry had passed. We could not count on the understanding of the on-site controllers who witnessed our inconveniences and we had to wait for a last minute ticket to become available so that I could buy it and join my wife and two children 1 hour later ... I contacted Viator asking for a refund of this ticket providing them with proof of purchase of the last minute ticket. They did not want to admit their responsibility by pointing out to me in writing that I was wasting their time and that I was the one who did not show up on time... Looking at the reviews on this site I see that my case is not isolated and that other customers have had the same setbacks

  The ticket is expensive compared to the actual price. 20€ for 11€ per person. On site you need to add 7€ parking and 3€ per person shuttle. Be careful not to get the wrong date, cancellation less than 24 hours does not refund anything

  Be careful, he sells tickets he doesn't have, and asks you to change your visiting schedule at the last minute. So I had to buy tickets in front of the site. To avoid...

  Do not book with this unprofessional company. As well as their vendor. Both Viator and The vendor withheld my ticket and then stated I was late. I contacted them this morning at 7am to let them know I had not received ticket I had purchase. Save your money. Don’t use this app, Viator or the local vendor. All three had a hand in scamming me.

  I bought tickets for 9:30 and I was delivered tickets for 10:40... 6 times more expensive than tickets bought directly from Vesuvius for exactly nothing more

  Too expensive, actually only 11€ on site for adults, children are actually free!! Skip the line is not necessary and there is also no Service we would have needed in case of an emergency as our train and bus were cancelled and we could only arrive 3 hours late - our tickets had expired and we had to buy new ones, even though we had been trying to reach the Service numbers since the morning.

  I was very excited for this tour unknowing that there were strikes happening in Naples. We waited for 30 plus minutes at a bus stop that never showed and walked for 45 plus minutes to find out no trains were running. The only means of transportation was a taxi yet, not one driver would drive us for under 200 euros. The guide was not accommodating whatsoever regardless of it not being within our control. Not a very Pleasant experience none the less..
