Plenty of time at the Titanic Museum to see everything and enjoyed the tour of the distillery. Our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful.

  • Don’t book this as the guide can not enter the museum with you

The Titanic Museum and the Distillery tour are excellent and would be rated 5* but we booked the guided tour because we wanted to be accompanied in the Titanic Museum to understand more than just what is displayed after doing the Guinness Tour by ourselves. Unfortunately what is advertised is not what the guide is supposed to give you. You meet at a cafe just around the corner from the museum and the guide’s job is to show you to the museum - you can see it from the meeting point. Fortunately our guide was excellent, talked us through SS Nomadic and then basically blagged her way into the museum to guide us around. Otherwise we were prepared to pay the £24.95 to get her in. Her guidance was invaluable both in the museum and outside where she showed us around the Titanic Hotel, slipways, lighthouse, HMS Caroline before dropping us at the distillery. The museum and distillery are both great but unless you get a guide like ours you will be ripped off for £90

  • One Titanic Experience After Another

    Carolyn R,Mar 23, 2026

    - Review from Viator

The tour began with a short, interesting walk to the Titanic Experience. Fiona gave us a good overview on Belfast and shared specific details about what we were seeing. This was quite helpful as this was our first day in Belfast. Fiona was kind and informative and answered all of our questions. The Titanic Experience was just that - an experience! Good for all ages and very interesting! We spent 2 hours - you could spend longer - really depends on the person. Fiona then walked us to Titanic Distillers and shared more info on the way. The Distillers was very cool! Brian, our guide, was informative and fun! This was the perfect way to end the tour, as Titanic Distillers is in the former Titanic pump house. We enjoyed our tasting and the delicious beverage Brian made us and I have a new found knowledge of and appreciation for whiskey. Thank you, Brian!

Great attraction, well told story and very spectacular and emotional. Congratulations to the city on the tremendous museum you have created. I only have one BUT. There is a map of the commercial routes and the Canary Islands are missing. The archipelago was an important point for British vessels and in its attraction is omitted.

Fabulous museum that is not just about the dreadful tragedy of the sinking. It's and evolutionary story of the ship building company and the Belfast ship yards. The labour and skills that went into building so many ship. The Titanic story takes you on an in depth journey from the build to testing, events that lead to the disaster and a very sombre remembrance to those that perished along with some significant items. To the discovery of the wreck so many years later. There are many brilliant photo's that take you back to that time in history.

  • Don't miss it!

Very well done, very interesting, especially the prehistory to industrialisation, to Belfast. Be sure to factor in enough time (2.5h is too little...).
