What To Expect
Daikoku Parking Area
This is a long straight highway connecting Tokyo and Yokohama made famous by the street racing escapades of the '90s and a manga, aptly named Wangan Midnight. Ever since then it has been the artery connecting key epicenters of Japanese Car Culture. Daikoku PA is an unassuming parking area that has been a place for nightly car gatherings for decades. You can see iconic JDM machines from stock, classic to wild time attack builds, from drift machines to Kaido Racers, and from obscure to highly popular. There is probably something for everyone there. You will also find plenty of Euro metal and American muscle. If you are lucky, you may see supercars, vintage classics, lowrider, and hot rods, Note: Sometime Police can be Announced People go out early from there if traffic jam on the highway.

5.00This was a fun experience. It was even better because it was a private experience. Getting to experience the car meet, pass through the rainbow bridge, and stop by a photo opp at the Tokyo Tower were all cool. Mukarram was an excellent your guide. Very punctual and knowledgeable.

5.00Mukarram was an amazing tour guide. I definitely recommend this tour on your first days in Tokyo as he gives a lot of insight on what we can do in Tokyo. Especially because advice from a local can make your trip so much more interesting. We had lots of fun seeing the cars and Tokyo tower!

5.00Mukarram took us out to Daikoku Parking Area and gave us a really solid night tour around the city. Pickup was easy and on time, and the whole thing felt relaxed rather than rushed. Daikoku was great — definitely something you wouldn’t want to try and organise yourself as a visitor. On the way we drove through Shibuya Crossing and around the base of Tokyo Tower, which was a nice bonus and gave us a feel for the city at night. Mukarram was easy to talk to, was very knowledgeableabout Japan and its culture, and made the whole experience straightforward and enjoyable. If you’re into cars or just want to see something a bit different while you’re in Tokyo, it’s well worth doing.

5.00Mukarram was very nice and informative of Tokyo. He shared his knowledge with us along the trip, made great recommendations and didn’t rush us at all. Would highly recommend this tour and him as a guide specifically. Awesome cars and amazing views at every stop.

5.00Had a tour with Mukarram, very trustworthy and fun guy. Explained lots about Japan while he drove us to a few car meets, also showed us some well known attractions too. Great value for money and Mukarram is very patient at the stops and doesn’t hassle you. Definitely advise a tour with him.

5.00This was such a great surprise and ended up being a highlight of our trip. We added it because my husband and teen/tween boys are car lovers but even I had a great time seeing amazing cars and just the energy of the car scene. As a bonus Mukarram our guide also took us by Tokyo tour at night, the Rainbow bridge and shibuya crossing. We had seen them during the day but night gives it an entirely new feel and it was such a great finish to a lovely night. During the ride he shared a lot about day to day life in Japan. It also was so nice to be picked up and dropped off at our hotel so there was no hassle of having to get to a meeting spot. Would absolutely do again.
