During cherry blossom season, sitting and eating near Meguro River is normally prohibited due to extreme crowds and local regulations.
This experience offers the only officially permitted, quiet terrace in the Nakameguro area, allowing you to enjoy cherry blossoms seated, peacefully, and without crowds — something even most locals cannot do.
Available for just 8 days per year. This is a rare opportunity that cannot be repeated outside this limited period.
After the riverside experience, the tour concludes at our boutique hotel Waves Nakameguro, where you will enjoy a traditional Japanese tea ceremony. Led by a tea master, this intimate moment includes matcha and seasonal wagashi, allowing you to slow down and reflect on the beauty of the day.
Season note:
In Tokyo, cherry blossoms usually peak from late March to early April.
By mid-April, petals may be past their peak; however, the tour still operates and offers cultural and culinary experiences.

The cherry blossoms were a bit late this year, so we didn’t get to see them fully in bloom, but the experience was still really enjoyable. Our guide Ryu was local, friendly, and made us feel very welcome throughout the tour. I’d definitely recommend coming in late March to early April if you want to see the sakura at its peak.
