This was such a beautiful, fun trip and day! We have seen and done so much, learned a lot, and yet the pace was perfect, and it never felt overwhelming. My husband and were amazed by the stunning beauty of the lush nature and every site we visited. Warmly recommend it! Our guide Anju was so kind, patient, and gave a lot of wonderful feedback, history and context for each destination. She spoke excellent English, and was such a pleasure to have around, and get guidance from. Do yourself a favor, and don’t miss this wonderful get away!

we booked this tour mainly to visit hakone, but the first stop at the mt. fuji peace park ended up being our favorite part of the day! we were so close to mt fuji from that destination, not to mention this was not a very touristy park so we were the only group there! anju was a wonderful guide and taught us a lot about the history of japan and the areas we were traveling through. 10/10 experience!!

This tour was a real highlight of our trip to Tokyo! Ayaka was our tour guide and she was simply wonderful - very upbeat and personable, and really dedicated to taking the best care of our group. Her knowledge of Japanese culture and customs was phenomenal, and I learned a lot! Ayaka also shared both entertaining facts and a ton of practical tips at every turn, making sure we would have the best experience during our tour and Japan stay itself. Having taken a few bus tours in various places I believe that the guide can make a difference between a nice tour and a really memorable one, and Ayaka truly made ours special! The tour destinations themselves were well-chosen, starting with Fuji Heiwa Park which was serene and very beautiful, and allowed for a nice view of My. Fuji. Taking the Hakone ropeway up to Owakudani Hot Springs to watch the steam rise from sulfur vents was quite impressive, and the pirate ship boat cruise on Lake Ashi a real treat! Lastly, Hakone Shrine with its floating Torii gate was a perfect finish rounding out our trip. We had a truly wonderful day, made great memories, and highly recommend this beautiful tour with Ayaka and Local Guide Stars!

A great tour. We were lucky and were able to see Fuji (even if only briefly). But even without the mountain, it is worthwhile. Our tour guide Ayaka took wonderful care of us. Very well organized, informative, and entertaining.
