Next, enjoy a relaxing cruise on a sightseeing ship — not just any boat, but a charming pirate ship designed like something out of a fairytale. As you glide across the lake, the crystal-clear blue water, lush green mountains, and the snow-capped peak of Mt. Fuji unfold before you like a living painting. One of the highlights of this cruise is the breathtaking scenery that changes with each season. In spring, cherry blossoms bloom along the shore; in summer, the landscape is filled with vibrant greenery; autumn brings brilliant red and gold leaves; and in winter, the lake reflects the serene beauty of snow-covered peaks.

This is a very nice day trip to Hakone and the surroundings. We’ve been to multiple beautiful temples and always had an amazing view of the mountains and centuries old forests. We had Anju as a guide and she told us many interesting stories about the shrines and Japan historical and religious background. The pirate ship and the ropeway are included in the price of the activity and allows you to take the best pictures of landscapes we usually wouldn’t see from the ground. We almost didn’t waited to board for both of them and the temples we visited weren’t very crowded. I really recommend this activity if you want to explore and learn more about Hakone. We had the chance to see Mount Fuji in the morning then it got cloudy, but even if the conditions doesn’t allow you to see it, it’s still a very nice trip to do!

The overall experience is really great with the Guide, we had a young lady named Anju that was super fun and spoke really well english as well. She had bunch of stories to tell and was super easy to make conversation with. The visit was pretty much a 10h round trip, we started by the Hakone shrine temple which is very beautiful next to lake Ashi, then we went on the pirate ship ride on the lake which was awesome. By then it was round 12pm, we went to the Hakone ropeway to Owakudani, we got up the montains and passed on top of thermal sources. By then it was 1pm and was time to dinner on top of the mountain, there was some really good curry and the infamous thermal black eggs that gives you 8 more years of life when you eat it. We got back in the bus and headed to a very quiet and calm place called the Peace park that was breathtaking with the view on mt fuji. We left around 3h15pm to head back at the starting point in Shinjuku. I really recommand this trip, it was well worth the price. Even if Mt Fuji is clouded, the trip is still worth taking!

Ayaka made the trip amazing and catered to the interests and needs of the people on the tour very well. She is an excellent speaker and teacher, making the information given on the bus and while walking around very engaging. She was also a very capable photographer which helps make memories last. Some of the photos she took for us are getting printed out, framed and hung on the wall when we get home.

Ayaka was our tour guide! She was very informative and knowledgeable. Kept us updated throughout the entire trip regarding time, destination's, meet up locations and time. She also helped us communicate with the locals. She was very welcoming with my children and was practically our photographer throughout the trip! 🙌🏼

The tour was nothing short of amazing! Our tour guide, Ayaka, was friendly, personable and extremely knowledgeable on every stop on the way. She was even kind enough to lend us some cash when we were short! Highly recommend bringing cash with you on this trip. Overall it was a fantastic experience and definitely worth taking a day out of your itinerary to see Hakone and Mount Fuji. Also you get back at around 6pm so you still have your evening! 10/10 worth it!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing Hakone tour with Ayaka! She was honestly the best guide we could have asked for. Ayaka was incredibly sweet, patient, and made the whole experience feel so comfortable and enjoyable. She explained everything really well, helped us throughout the day, and was just so lovely to hang out with. She made our trip to Hakone even more special, and I would 100% recommend her to anyone visiting. Thank you Ayaka for such a wonderful day!
