Along the way, you’ll enjoy incredible food and gain insights into Japanese cuisine and Shinjuku’s complex layout.
We begin at a hidden sushi restaurant, where a skilled Itamae prepares fresh, beautiful sushi before your eyes. Next, we head to a Yakiniku spot near Shinjuku West or Kabuki-cho to grill mouthwatering Wagyu beef on traditional Japanese BBQ stoves.
As we stroll through neon-lit Kabuki-cho, the tour wraps up at a local snack bar or cozy bar, with dessert or a drink to finish. You’ll leave full, happy, and with a deeper appreciation of Tokyo’s culinary scene.

Once you meet your guide, our culinary journey begins at an authentic sushi haven.
Omoide Yokocho
Here, you can opt for the Omakase style (the chef's choices), entrusting the seasoned sushi chef to serve you the season's finest creations. Navigating Shinjuku's bustling streets, filled with people, restaurants, accommodations, and attractions, finding an authentic Japanese eatery can be a challenge, even for locals.

5.00We really enjoyed this tour. The sushi & wagyu beef was excellent and it included a fantastic walk around Shinjuku & Kabukicho with our tour guide Yosh, who took us to places we probably would not have found on our own. We got a really good feel for the nightlife in the area, and have the confidence to go back on our own and try out some of the other spots we saw.

5.00This was a great experience and the food choices and locations were perfect. Our guide Karen was the best. She was informative and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. There was also vegetarian options for those of us who do not eat seafood which was a huge plus.

5.00Food was delicious. So much to look at when you were walking around - hard to absorb everything. Our guide Mayu was wonderful. Even though it poured the whole time we were on this tour, we would do it again - well worth the monies!

5.00Our guide, Yuki, was really informative and very friendly. He made us feel super welcome and made the city feel like home. He also made it seem like he was just as happy to be on the tour as we were, we loved just hanging out with him. I’d take any tour from him again! Plus the food was delicious and a great introduction to good food in Shinjuku. It was a super fun night
