What To Expect
Xin chào ! I'm Lua, a cooking instructor, having grown up in Northern Vietnam and lived in the South for 28 years, with extensive travels across Vietnam and 17 other countries, I bring a diverse culinary expertise from many regions. Learning to cook at my home offers a truly authentic experience, where I will guide you step by step through the cooking process to get the best results and share plenty of cooking tips and stories along the way. I specialize in authentic, healthy home-style dishes made with high-quality ingredients. Menus can be tailored to vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, lactose-intolerant, or other special diets. MENU: We prepare 3 dishes from scratch together. If you want to learn specific dishes, please let me know when you book your class. Additional Notes: - Optional market visit available for VND150,000 per person. - No pickup servide provided. - Guests cook the same menu together in a shared kitchen setting (no separate stations). - For Bánh mì baking, coffee workshop, or street food tour, feel free to message me.

5.00In a nice private atmosphere we visited Luna at home today to learn and enjoy Vietnamese cooking. From the first contact to the farewell, everything was well organized. At no time was it unclear to us. We loved Luna, her advice and information. The food was super delicious and we learned a lot. Luna has told us beyond the offer, tips and tricks on how we can cook the food even at home without one or the other ingredient, or what we can take for a while. We had a great evening. Should we be in town again, we will book a cooking class with Luna again. The cooking class was held in English. But even those who are not so proficient in the English language can easily attend this course. We wish Luna continued success and many dear chef-loving people who can enjoy the evening as we do. We say thank you !!! In a lovely, private setting, we visited Luna at her home today to learn and enjoy Vietnamese cooking. From our first contact to our farewell, everything was perfectly organized. Nothing was unclear at any point. We were thrilled with Luna, her advice, and the information she shared. The food was delicious, and we learned a great deal. Beyond what was offered, Luna shared tips and tricks on how we can prepare similar dishes at home, even without certain ingredients, and what we can substitute. We had a wonderful evening. If we're ever in town again, we'll definitely book another cooking class with Luna. The class was conducted in English, but even those who aren't fluent in English can easily participate. 5.00We had a hard time finding the place, but it was so worth it! Fabulous apartment! Great kitchen & wonderful teacher! She was extremely well organized & had so many ingredients to cook so many dishes! There was nothing artificial & the food was so good & authentic for the area. I highly recommend it!
Best experience in cookery vietnamese style.

5.00Lua is so lovely and seack English very well. Her class is welcoming and stress-free. Her school teaches simple easy to learn vietnamese food. Once cooked you can eat the results of your labour. Fresh healthy ingredients. Food intolerances catered for.

5.00Lua was wonderful and was great at communicating prior to the visit and during the cooking lesson. She was very friendly and we made a large lunch with a 3 different courses pho, salad, and 3 kinds of bahn xeo (i mentioned the bananas on the table looked good and we made a banana one). My wife and I had an amazing time cooking and eating with Lua and can't wait to try the recipes she sent to us after the lesson.

5.00The chef was informative articulate, and had a great sense of knowledge which of the food in the cuisine the class was welcoming. The food was prepped. Well he had very many things in place. It was simple. The food was flavorful. The demonstrations were good. The techniques were wonderful. You learn a lot from the experience such as that well worth the money well worth the trip.

5.00Lua went to great lengths to introduce us to Vietnamese cuisine. Thanks to the fresh ingredients, Lua's understandable explanations, the relaxed and friendly atmosphere and authentic recipes, the evening was a complete success for us! We can only recommend the cooking class!
