Bimmah Sinkhole
The tour departs from Muscat in the morning towards Ras Al Hadd, our first stop Bimmah Sinkhole (swimming in the sinkhole lake is possible) Bimmah Sinkhole a water-filled depression, structurally a Sinkhole, in the limestone of eastern Muscat Governorate in Oman, a lake of turquoise waters, it's 50 m by 70 m wide and approximately 20 m deep, it's 600 m away from the sea, between the coastal towns of Dibab and Bimmah village, the Sinkhole was formed by a collapse of the surface layer due to the dissolution of the underlying limestone, to preserve the Sinkhole, the local municipality developed a park there.
From Sinkhole, we’ll make a stop at Fins beach or people call it white sands beach opens up a panorama of strikingly white sands and intriguingly pebbly beach, with sparkling turquoise waters and soft cool breeze.
Wadi Shab
Then we drive towards Wadi Shab, this Wadi is an enormous canyon gorge that is lined with palm trees and impressive indications of what the power of the water coming down from the mountains can do in nature with 35 to 40 minute hike up through the canyon Wadi (walking shoes or trainer are required), we arrive at one of the crystal clear water pools, tourists can swim through the warm waters from pool to pool, eventually, we come to the last pool where an opening among the enormous rocks allows us to swim into an incredible crevice cave with a small waterfall inside, the sunlight filters in from the outside, turning the water into a beautiful turquoise blue whilst water showers down one side of the cave from the Wadi beyond.
Sur
The tour continues to the City of Sur, the famous Arabian Dhow Factory, where you can see traditional wooden Dhows being built, we'll visit the old part of Sur there you can see most of the houses designed with wooden doors and windows.
From Sur we drive to Ras Al Hadd we check in at the hotel/resort, in the evening after the buffet dinner we take you to the Turtle sanctuary at Ras Al Jinz, where we'll go on a guided beautiful walking tour on the beach at night under the stars, where we have a high chance of seeing Oman's great sea turtles stumbling onto the beach to build a nest and lay the eggs, if you are lucky, you can even see baby turtles hatching from some nests.

An excursion out of the ordinary and devoid of the aseptic nature of modern tourism. The places visited are already worth the whole experience. The Wadi Shab, Fins Beach and Wahiba Sands are probably the pearls that have made it all the more adrenaline and exciting. But the added value was definitely Khalid. More than a guide turned out to be a friend with whom we shared a two-day cultural sharing and the pleasure of being together. He followed us step by step at every moment of the tour, but without ever being intrusive. You can see that this job does it with pleasure and transport, which is never obvious. Thanks to him we could taste even more the essence of extraordinary Oman. Finding it on our route was a real luck and a real pleasure. I wish everyone who has this experience the chance to share it with him. Antonio and Maria.

We recently visited Oman with our travel guide and driver, Ahmed (WhatsApp number +968 9243 3089). From the start, Ahmed impressed us by treating us to a nice breakfast at his own expense after picking us up from the airport. Ahmed proved to be a punctual, helpful, safe, and skilled driver. He navigated us safely through mountainous roads, valleys, and deserts. During our adventures, we crossed various wadis, where we swam and cliff-dived. Ahmed was well-prepared, having brought everything we needed, including reminding in advance for proper attire for visiting mosques. He even provided us with hats, water shoes, and waterproof phone camera bags, eliminating the need for rentals. His car was perfect for our needs - spacious, new, and consistently cool inside despite the hot weather. Ahmed also provided cold water and light snacks, even during our deep-water excursions. One of the highlights of traveling with Ahmed was the comfort of his car. After engaging in tiring water activities and enjoying a nice meal, we'd often fall asleep in the car, lulled by the soft music he played. Ahmed made our trip incredibly fun and safe, ensuring our well-being even in challenging terrain like mossy water and narrow passages. As a local guide, he's very helpful and speaks English fluently. He even took us to the gold souq, providing valuable information on pricing and more, despite it not being on our original itinerary. We would definitely travel with Ahmed again and highly recommend him to anyone planning a trip to Oman.

Day 1 of the tour and Abdullah was waiting for us in our hotel reception . He was polite, professional and knowledgable . The vehicle we travelled in was super comfortable. We made lots of extra stops where Abdullah bought us delicious tea and local snacks. Swimming in the wadi was such fun and the walk to the wadi wasn’t very strenuous. Lunch was at a local restaurant and the food was really nice and plentiful. We are vegan and vegetarian and throughout the two day tour Abdullah made sure we were well catered for. The turtle watching was the highlight of the trip for me. Even though it wasn’t turtle season we saw turtles laying eggs in the sand and hatchlings racing towards the sea. The hotel we stayed in over was beautiful and we ate our evening buffet in the hotel restaurant on the beach. The next day the desert and dune bashing was great fun and we got back to Muscat early evening. I was so happy with this tour. It fitted in so much and I would recommend Abdullah and Discover Mazoon tours to anyone visiting Oman.

Excellent itinerary! Abdullah was punctual, extremely professional, attentive and knowledgable. We enjoyed swimming in Wadi Shab and Wadi bin Khalid and were very lucky to see turtles on the beach digging and laying eggs under the clear night sky. The dune bashing was one of the main trip highlights, we thoroughly enjoyed the adventure :). Definitely a highly recommended reliable tour operator; many thanks for two great days!
