Laguna del Inca
The lagoon has an oval shape with a major axis of 4 km and a width that varies between 400 m and 700 m. It is located at 3200 m. Its outfall carries its waters through the Juncal River. Legend has it that there was a lake in the Inca era that represented the love sorrows of the Inca Illi Yupanqui and that, according to traditions, it would be the lagoon currently known as the Inca Lagoon in the Andes Mountains. According to legend, in this lagoon Illi Yupanqui cried all his sorrows when the Inca princess Kora-lle died after suffering an accident while carrying out a tradition for her marriage. The princess's body was left there, and it is said that at that moment the lagoon turned emerald, dyed by the color of the eyes that the son of the Sun could no longer awaken. It is also said that on certain winter nights you can still hear the cries of the Inca
Parque Provincial Aconcagua
Aconcagua Provincial Park is a protected area in the Argentine Andes, on the border with Chile. There is Mount Aconcagua, whose summit is covered in snow and is one of the highest in South America. At the entrance of the park you can take a path to the Los Horcones lagoon and the Quebrada del Durazno. Thanks to its altitude, it is home to enormous Andean condors. Nearby is the Puente del Inca, which is a natural bridge made of orange stones that crosses the Las Cuevas River. We will do a Light or Medium Difficulty Trekking (at the passenger's choice) to appreciate Mount Aconcagua, which is the highest peak on the American continent at 6,962 meters high.

The tour "Trekking in the Aconcagua- Park, Laguna del Inca, Portillo" is a fantastic exkperience. With good weather the tour is worth the price and the long drive. The views of Mt. Aconcagua on the 3-hours walking are stunning, spectacular. Our guide Sergio Rodriguez and our driver Riccardo Cabezas did a really good job, Sergio with very good knowledge of English language for the English speaking guests. Thank you for the great tour, we highly recommend it.
