El Arco de Cabo San Lucas
A signature landmark of Los Cabos, El Arco de Cabo San Lucas—known locally as simply “El Arco” or “the Arch”—is a limestone arch carved by time, tide, and wind. The natural attraction runs runs down to the water’s edge at Land’s End, the southern tip of Cabo San Lucas (which itself is at the southern end of Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula) and into the Sea of Cortez. From a distance, the rock formation looks like a dragon; up close, the arch frames sky, sea, and sand for prime photos.

1.00DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR IT IS AN ABSOLUTE SCAM. They promote this as if transportation is included, it's in the title, at check out they ask if you need transportation or not and if so what hotel - plot twist - it's not included! They hide this information deep in their listing and if you don't click 'see more' you won't see it. I messaged them three times leading up to the event to confirm pick up details and the did not reply until it was too late to cancel. At that time they informed me it was an additional $13 per person for transportation and immediately offer to provide screen shots of this before I even responded. RED FLAG - clearly, they know they are misleading people. I booked a 9:35am tour. We got to the marina at 9:15am and after we checked in, they said, 'ok you'll be on the 10am boat you can go shop or do a tequila tasting while you wait'. I said, 'we booked 9:35' and showed the confirmation to which they told me there are only tours at 9:30 and 10:00. We were told 9:30 was full and we had to wait until 10am. So, we sat outside in the heat for 45 minutes just waiting for our 50-minute tour to start. Once we finally got on the boat it was ok. The clear boat is cool and it as nice to see the fish and coral underneath. The actual arch is a tourist trap. There were sooo many boats there. Impossible to get a good picture. Of course, they have a photographer on the boat and you're only allowed to stand up and/or remove your life vest if the photographer is taking your picture. He would purposely block the shot if you tried to take a picture of someone from behind him. Finally, after paying our $13 per person for transportation we were told our return shuttle to the hotel would pick us up at 1:30pm - after our 9:35 one hour tour LOL. 'You can do tequila tasting and shop for 3 hours while you wait for the shuttle.' Long story short this will cost you way more $$ than advertised and also take a lot longer than advertised.

4.00They sent an email the day before indicating the checkin time was the time you picked. This might mess with your plans. Be prepared to take off shoes for the ride

4.00The trip was great. Easy boarding. The boat was awesome in that it was completely acrylic and you could see tons of fish. Lots of time at the arch but basically the goal is to take pictures of families and individuals at the arch and then sell them when you get back to shore. If you know this going in and you're okay with it then the trip was great. Our captain did a great job keeping the boat in front of the arch and the pictures actually turned out fairly good but one picture is $40 so just know that going in.
