El Arco de Cabo San Lucas
A signature landmark of Los Cabos, El Arco de Cabo San Lucas—known locally as simply “El Arco” or “the Arch”—is a limestone arch carved by time, tide, and wind. The natural attraction runs runs down to the water’s edge at Land’s End, the southern tip of Cabo San Lucas (which itself is at the southern end of Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula) and into the Sea of Cortez. From a distance, the rock formation looks like a dragon; up close, the arch frames sky, sea, and sand for prime photos.

3.00We purchased the excursion and when we got there we were told we could upgrade for 100 dollars and get a private boat plus 15 minutes for swimming. The captain said there was so swimming allowed. The tour guide spoke so fast that it was difficult to understand. We’ve used Viator for many, many years for all our excursions and have always had good experiences but I felt this was not the best. We were definitely dissappointed.

1.00Driver was late ended up on a later tour. Everyone else spoke Spanish, most of the tour was in Spanish with a quick English this is pelican rock or something but all the conversation was in Spanish. I had requested an English tour. Most of the time was spent at the arch with the guide taking pictures of the groups to sell to them at the end.

1.00Tourist trap! We started late, everyone was waiting at the meeting point but the tourist guides. Once we were assigned one, Carlos, we headed to the boat and had to queue a bit, take off our shoes, and then we had to wait for the captain to get some life jackets that were missing. We left the port around 20minutes after the tour officially started. Super briefly stopped at the pelican beach (other boats were spotting sea lions, our guide or captain didn't bother to get near or wait in case we could see them), then headed to the arch (it's literally 30 seconds away), took a quick picture, and since most of the group didn't want to take pictures we just headed back! It was barely 15-20 minutes tour, we saw nothing, the transparent boat completely unworthy
