I’m glad I did the tour but if you want a better experience I would recommend paying more. We were picked up at 7:40 and they didn’t finish picking people up until around 9am which is when we started our journey to Teotihuacan. It was a small no frills van that we rode in which was completely full. I think the most off putting thing was that lunch was not included and they took us to a buffet which cost around ~$40 USD and ended up making my fiancé sick. We were the only English speakers on the trip which was fine but meant that we had to wait to get the English translation. Our tour guide was very sweet and was concerned about her English but did a fine job!

Alejandra the tourist guide and Jose Luis the driver were very attentive, on time and fun. My husband and I were gladly satisfied.

I was misled by the tour as it was advertised to be only four hours when it actually took the majority of the day thereby derailing our plans for the trip. It took excessively long making unnecessary stops before even arriving to our destination and poorly planned. Wish I would’ve known in advance as it was not enjoyable and would’ve preferred to book a private tour/driver. We also took time to have lunch with the group as the day was long which is understandable, but again changed our plans for the day and not preferred. Also spent about the first hour just picking up group members. In total for the two destinations it should not have taken as long to see either. I also advise the guide to plan better as he waited to share the history of the destinations until we got there, taking up more of our time as he could’ve shared during the long drive or as we walked to explore.

Awesome experience, and the guide gave us every detail of the archeological facts. The itinerary was perfect and everything was on time.
