What To Expect
The easiest way to get from Paraty to Grand Island or vice versa! We will pick up at the door of your accommodation in Paraty and take you in a van to the exit of the fastboat to Ilha Grande, from Cais de Santa Luzia in Angra Dos Reis. A day before the service we will send your ticket by whatsapp, for the sea crossing to the Abraham pier on the island. We have daily departures in two schedules available. (your pickup time will be confirmed via whatsapp as available) The vehicle can be a car or van, depending on the number of people travelling

4.00It was great to be collected on time in the morning of the transfer from right out front of our hotel. Bus was huge, clean and. Comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful.coach trip to the ferry went very comfortably. We were met my another host from Paraty Tours at the ferry terminal at about 11.10am. ..and she gave us our ferry ticket. She had not managed to secure 11.30am tickets so we had to wait at the terminal until the 12.30pm departure. This is why I have given four starts and not five. We booked months ago so there was no reason why an 11.30am ticket could not have been secured if purchased at a reasonable date in advance. The fast ferry across was very good.

5.00Picked up at my hotel on time in a very modern, clean and comfortable mini van. It turned out I was the only person booked on the transfer yet the company were so good to make the journey still. When arriving in Angra dos Reis the rep was there to greet me and give instructions for the boat which would take me to Ilha Grande. I was given my ticket and allowed time to visit the supermarket over the road. When the boat arrived the rep was waiting to ensure I got on ok. Boat journey was busy but all good. Excellent for the price.

4.00Picked up on time by the comfortable minibus but long wait for the boat leading to Ilha Grande and difficulty boarding and finding space with large suitcases. Fortunately, the staff helps. Arrive on time to take possession of the hotel room as soon as possible.

5.00Really well organised transfer from Paraty to Ilha Grande. Picked us up from our hotel on time and dropped us off at the harbour side in Angra dos Reis where there was a rep to meet us and guide us onto the boat to cross to Ilha Grande.
