I trekked with him for four days. On the way I got sick, but he gave me medicine and lent me clothes, so I was relieved and was able to trek afterwards. I really appreciate it. Even when choosing a guest house, I chose it carefully until I was satisfied, but they accompanied me and I was able to spend the night with peace of mind. It allowed me to trek through the pleasant air, seeing amazing scenery, eating delicious food and more. I'm really grateful for your kindness. I have decided to ask him again next time. Thank you very much.

I had an amazing time on my 12 day trek with Raju, he organised everything for us and his service and knowledge went above and beyond, without the help of Raju and our amazing porter Assok it would’ve been a much more difficult time but they made it 100% achievable, memorable and awesome. I would recommend this man as a guide to not only anyone reading this review but also my close friends, if I ever return to Nepal I know who to call! To Raju, thanks again, Namaste and Hallelujah!

I’ve had a great experience during the Annapurna circuit trek (12 days). Raju (and my porter Assok) was very caring, and will make sure you are comfortabel and safe at all times. During the hike he can tell a lot about Nepal, its customs, traditions, politics and surroundings. If I’m ever back in Nepal for trekking, I’d call Raju. But first I am going to rest my legs :) धन्यवाद Dhanyabad

We were on the Mardi Himal Trek with Raju and it was 5 great days in which Raju took very good care of us and we could enjoy the incredible mountains. After every meal, there was fruit and even during the hike Raju always had fun facts about vegetable growing in the mountains and the Himalayas themselves. We felt very comfortable and could give Raj with Uno a bit of something back.

I made the 12 day trek mid October to Everest base camp with Raju and it was a great experience and a great memory to be in the mountains away from everything surrounded by the highest mountains in the world and Sherpa villages (where you eat very well in the evening to warm up near the stove). Raju was very attentive, very accommodating, very careful and very hospitable throughout this hike. I was able to meet his family and also saw Pokhara (poon hill to see the sunrise over the Annapurnas). Raju is also a happy man just walking in the mountains. Let you embark with him, he knows all the trails and all the peaks and will amaze you!!

Raju has 35 years experience in guiding treks in Nepal and it truly shows. Transportation, accommodations, permits, route - if you're going with Raju, you don't have to spend a thought on it, as everything is perfectly organized. He knows the locals, tea house flora and fauna and will tell you about it. You'll not only get the best views but learn loads about people, culture and nature along the way. What makes Raju exceptional: Raju genuinely has nothing but the best experience for his customers at heart which shows by his proactive care. He anticipates every need before you even know you have it. - Best rooms: he knows every tea house and their owners and makes sure his customers get private rooms with the best view - Amenities: no matter where you go, Raju will make sure you get hot showers, wifi, charging, extra food and heating whenever possible. No questions asked - no extra cost. - Constant checks: Raju constantly checks on your well-being. And will adjust the pace, lunch breaks and even took some of my girlfriends heavy luggage to lighten her backpack when she got tired. Also we finished our trek a day early. Instead of simply ending the service he immediately planned a free day tour of Pokhara. He covered everything from transportation, tickets, lunch and dinner even though we insisted it was not necessary. Overall Raju is just an incredibly warm and pleasant person. My girlfriend even shed a tear when it was time to say goodbye. If you're looking for a guide in Nepal l, look no further. Raju is your man!

We were very happy to have Raju accompany us on our 4-day Poonhill hike. We are not professional hikers, so having an experienced, thoughtful, patient companion like Raju to guide and introduce us to the mountains, forests, trees, animals and local culture was truly a blessing. 4 days with favorable weather and clear blue skies were a wonderful gift to enjoy the scenery of the majestic and enchanting Himalayas. Thank you very much Raju.

Many of the reviews written for Raju here speak of the same thing: his unfaltering kindness, depth of experience and priceless knowledge of the area that only comes from living as long as he has in Annapurna. We would very much echo these sentiments! Rather, it is worth explaining the key thing (we found) that sets Raju apart from other guides on the ABC. That is, how attentive Raju is. When you wake up he is in the dining area ready to greet you, communicate to the kitchen you are ready for breakfast. He then explains the day to you and makes sure the tea house is happy for your departure. On the walk he always checks in and manages pace—taking you to the best spots for luncheon and finally your stay. Dinner, bedding, and all other of your requests under the setting sun are sought to, and only then does he attend to his own needs. The cycle repeats, with your interests always the top priority of his. Alongside all of Raju’s virtues, it is above all this, his attentiveness, that made for such a great trip and why we would recommend whole heartedly. Dhanyawad my friend, Archie and Emma

I recently did a full-day hike in Pokhara (about 9 hours), and I couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Raju. From start to finish, he was incredibly knowledgeable about the trails, local culture, and the natural surroundings. What made the experience truly great was how attentive and patient he was throughout the day. Raju always took time to explain interesting things along the way, whether it was about the landscape, villages, or local plants and his passion for the area really added to the experience. He knew exactly where the best viewpoints and photo spots were, and he also picked out ideal places to take breaks, which made the long hike feel very manageable. He made sure I was going at a pace that was comfortable for me and always prioritized my safety and comfort, checking in regularly. If you’re planning a hike or trek, I highly recommend Raju; a professional, friendly, and genuinely caring guide who turns a great hike into an unforgettable one.

Raju is very experienced and polite, introduced us lots of plants and animals, and always brought us to nice accommodations. Following his steady footprints makes this trip less tiring.
