Zhu from Sapa Trekking introduced my colleague and me to the landscapes and culture of these fantastic regions during two days. Yesterday we visited the two waterfalls where she knew a lot about it. Today we led the big day hike through the rice terraces of the Muong region. Very competent. She gave us interesting explanations and knew how to report on the way of life. Lunch at noon was good from Rome. In short, the two days with Zhu were an asset. Thank you very much.

Good experience, good guide, despite the rain and fog it was worth the time. The guide was prepared for any kind of question, about nature and the history of the villages and people living there.

Chu was a great guide on our walking trip. We didn't want to take the car back as it was only 7km until that point so Chu guided us back to our homestay which made it an 11km round trip tour. Beautiful scenery on a sunny day. Chu shared lots of knowledge about the people living in the different villages, their culture and the nature around us. She was also great with our 3 year old son.

The trek with Sang through the rice paddies and villages was perfect. Sang connected well with both me and my mum, chatting about life while bringing us through the fields. We learned so much about local life in Sapa, the cultural considerations, and local sentiments. Sand was very quick footed yet patient, she always looked out for my mum and ensured she was safe and that we were going at a manageable pace. She also helped us take really great photos and by the end of the day, she felt like a special friend! :) we’re so glad to have met her and the weather was absolutely perfect despite the unpredictable weather (we trekked just before the typhoon hit). Lunch was included in the tour which was delicious. The price of the whole trek was absolutely worth it!

This tour is superb! Our guide Chu was incredible, spoke great English, had a great sense of humour and shared intimate knowledge throughout the trek. The views of the rice paddies are jaw-dropping and getting to walk through them was a pleasure, as it is so peaceful and serene even during heavy rain. The only regret we have was not having more time to spend in Sapa and completing a longer trek! I would recommend this trip to anyone who loves nature, navigating some tough terrain and has a pair of eyes. As a couple we were also fortunate to meet others on the tour who were very friendly and made this tour even more memorable.

Today we did the trekking tour with Me. It was a fabulous day, learnt so much of the history as we walked through scenic rice fields. Some parts are slippery but the locals assist you.

Really good trip! Our guide, So, was extremely good at telling about both nature and culture while guiding the road safely through the rice fields. By the way, a really good lunch. It had rained before, so there was plenty of mud, but a So and a local woman were nice to grab those who didn't have good shoes on.
