Located in Salthill in Galway City, the 1,400 sq ft premises can seat 22 people at a time for gin classes and features an apothecary-style botanical pick 'n' mix area for pupils to choose their own flavour combinations. Over two-and-a-half hours, guests will learn how gin is made and distilled and distil their own unique 70cl bottles of gin with personalised labels, enjoy complimentary gin cocktails, cheese and nibbles throughout the class.

Come Enjoy our Tribe Gin School experience! Ireland's largest gin School! It's a fun filled few hours where you will get to learn how Gin is made, you will distill your own bottle of gin to take home, made with unique flavours chosen by you, and you will also get to taste some fantastic Gins throughout the class.

My wife and I booked a gin making class with Tribe Gin. We had traveled all day/night from the US to Dublin and Tribe Gin worked with us for a time that met our travels so we could get some sleep that night. It was pouring rain and we were soaked. Paul met us at the door and we had a gin and tonic and tried to dry off. When we took our seats to learn more and make gin, he brought in a heater to warm us up. Paul was so nice and educational and we just had a blast. The whole experience was worth it and so well done. Book and enjoy. Thank you Paul for the awesome experience and memories. This was a fantastic experience and would be perfect to do with friends, tour groups, or even with a family. It could even be fun to start the night at Tribe on a stag or hen party. It is operated by locals from Galway so it gives you that local vibe and personal touch that makes it unique. Paul was fantastic at answering questions and making it so much fun from start to finish! I highly recommend booking this experience, you will leave with your very own bottle of gin, and memories that will last forever!

Our hosts, two of the founders of Tribe Gin, shared their origin story and a bit of Irish history to answer our questions, all while guiding us through the process of selecting botanicals and distilling our own bottle of gin. It was a fun and relaxed atmosphere, and they served us gin and tonics and provided us with a meat and cheese board. This experience was the highlight of our trip so far! Highly recommend!

My daughter and I had the most wonderful time at Tribe Gin School. Adam was a great host and was so friendly and knowledgeable. Adam taught us how to choose a good balance of botanicals from their great selection, and helped us get our stills going. It was fun and easy, and we were treated to a very generous charcuterie and cheese board, and got to try their amazing Tribe gin in as many G and T's as we could drink while we waited for the distillation. We got to name and label our gin, and for those traveling, no worries, Adam shrink-seals the top so it won't leak. We did buy bottle protectors on Amazon, which I recommend if you're traveling a long way home. Everything was so nice and professionally done. Really impressive what a group of friends created during the chaos of the pandemic. Our favorite and most memorable activity in Ireland!

The perfect group activity in Galway - fun, informative, casual, interactive, and delicious!! We recently went with work and had a really enjoyable experience plus we got to enjoy our own bespoke bottle of gin back at the office!

We had such a great time doing the gin masterclass & we've already recommended it to lots of people. Ciarán was very welcoming, easy to chat to and very knowledgeable. It was a very relaxed atmosphere, the g&ts were lovely &we also got a delicious charcuterie board! I'd definitely love to go again

I loved it all. Such fun, but we also learned how to make our own individual bottles of Gin which we rook home. Haven't tried it yet so it's the gift that keeps on giving. But my god that guy can talk fast, with stories & local info

I cannot recommend Tribe Irish Gin school experience enough. We went as a party of 3 for my dad’s birthday. Ciaran and Cormac were our hosts. They were phenomenal. It was amazing to get the education of gin and distilling as well as general chat . We were there on our own for quite a while and gave us lots of time picking our botanicals for our gin. I would recommend this to people from the area and also people who are visiting Galway . You also get to leave with your own gin which you name! Fantastic experience . Well done lads and wishing you the best with your venture.

Although we did our gin making experience almost 8 months ago, it is still at the forefront of our minds! Four of us participated, 2 couples, in it and there was one other couple there also. We had an amazing night and the hosts were so personable and generous with their time, and their gin, it made for a truly wonderful night. The gin was genuinely bottomless and delicious! The knowledge about gin making was imparted in an interesting and accessible manner and the team behind the school have really put a lot of thought and effort into it. This is a great experience for couples or groups of friends. I thoroughly recommend it and will be taking friends there again in the future. Having done a gin distilling experiencing previously, I feel that the hosts enthusiasm and the free flowing gin at Tribe Gin School really pipped my previous experience. I can't remember the name of the 2 gentlemen who were our hosts that night but they really made it an evening to remember, lots of laughter and a delicious bottle of gin to bring home! Plus the cheese and charcuterie board was a nice touch.
