Try Scuba Diving is an experience you can’t miss when visiting the beautiful island of Koh Tao.
At DPM Diving, we work with small groups to ensure a personalized, relaxed, and 100% safe experience. Our professional and friendly instructors will guide you step by step, making your first dive easy, fun, and unforgettable.
As a bonus, when you complete your Discover Scuba Diving with us, you’ll receive a Basic Diver certification, allowing you to dive again for the next 6 months without needing to repeat the program.
Enjoy crystal-clear waters, colorful coral reefs, tropical fish, and maybe even sea turtles, while discovering the incredible feeling of breathing underwater for the first time.

What To Expect
Try Scuba Diving is an unforgettable experience where you’ll discover the amazing feeling of breathing underwater and explore the incredible marine world of Koh Tao. No previous experience is needed — just bring your curiosity, a sense of adventure, and get ready to enjoy one of the most exciting experiences the island has to offer. You’ll explore crystal-clear waters and may encounter clownfish (Nemo!), sea turtles, lionfish, pufferfish, colorful reef fish, and beautiful coral formations. Itinerary 8 : 30 AM / 9 : 30AM (If is in Spanish) Introductory briefing (30–40 minutes) covering the basics of scuba diving and how the equipment works. After the briefing, there is a short break before heading to the water for your first dive. 11 : 20 AM Boat departure to the dive site, usually around the famous Koh Nang Yuan Island. Once we arrive, we gear up, receive final instructions, and jump into the water. The basic program includes one dive, with the option to add a second dive to extend the experience and enjoy more time underwater. Relax, have fun, and enjoy your first breaths underwater in paradise!

Not beginner friendly and poor communication

2.00The try scubadiving day was really not beginner friendly, I felt like many things were really rushed because the instructor wanted to have more time free diving, we really rushed during the basic trainings. We did not go trough any hand signals what to do in case of a problem or wanting to go back up. Felt really pressured to succeed and not go back up. We didn’t even get to try going under the surface a bit, we just straight away were taken to the bottom and not coming back up for like 45 minutes straight. When I wanted to go back to the surface earlier I felt that the intructor was annoyed by it. I messaged them about this feedback after the day, but never even got an response, which left me even more unsatisfied with the day. This was really not an great experience, which is sad, since I really looked forward to it.

5.00Had an amazing experience with DPM diving koh tao! I did the one day intro course with the option of extending to open water certificate. All of the instructors were so comprehensive and friendly and really helped me gain confidence with scuba diving. Special mention to Harry my instructor who helped calm my nerves and let me really enjoy my time scuba diving! I will definitely be back in the future again!

1.00Do in any Enterprise but with them they handle very badly. They create WhatsApp groups to sell their tour and if someone thinks differently they delete it. Fourth grade.

5.00I have the open water divers license and went out diving with DPM Eric as instructor in January 2023. It was very nice staff was good, Eric was very good as instructor and patient. The sites were beautiful with lots of life and reef. I can warmly recommend DPM.

5.00Originally we only planned to stay 3 days in Koh tao to complete our open divers certification we ended up staying with DPM for a week. We spent all of our time with Francisco, who we can’t thank enough for everything. All of the staff are very friendly it feels like a massive family. We had a great time at DPM and would highly recommend them to everyone.

5.00The DPM Diving Centre is a marvel in Koh Tao. The staff is fantastic, serious professional and reassuring Our diving baptism was simply a wonder with our French instructor “Mathilde” who is for us a very beautiful meeting. I recommend "Mathilde" with my eyes closed.
