What To Expect
Tubing in this beautiful river consists of descending approximately 4 kilometers downstream, you will have a unique experience where you can immerse yourself in the flora and fauna of its tropical jungle. It is important to mention that for this activity you will be accompanied by tour guides certified by the Costa Rican Tourism Institute. They will guide you throughout the trip and make sure your adventure is safe. The tour lasts approximately 2 hours, including transportation to the starting point, which takes no more than 10 minutes. At the end of the trip we will enjoy delicious tropical fruits as a light snack, along with clean towels to enhance your comfort. 5.00We had an incredible day with Lindberg and his team. He customized a private tour for us. We started by getting picked up in a private van with a guide and were taken to the Rio Celeste waterfall right when it opened. We got to hike to the fall and then were taken to the tubing area. Lindberg and our guide Anthony made sure we are all safe while tubing in the water (this was my number one priority with a tour company- and we were really in the best hands out there). We have a 7 and 11 year old and it was the perfect amount of fun and small rapids for them. They both loved it! My son loved the stop at the rope swing and we even got to do a bit of front hunting. The tubing ended with delicious fruit and then a stop for an authentic Costa Rican lunch- it was SO good! You can feel that Lindberg and his team care a lot about their clients and their experience and will pull out all the stops to make sure you have a memorable day.

5.00Exceptional! Floating down the river felt like stepping into a postcard—peaceful, tropical, and absolutely unforgettable. We saw sloths, poison dart frogs, caymans, a tiger heron and our guide led with precision and skill so we could relax the entire our time and enjoy the view. Would highly recommend this for couples, families, solo travelers or anyone who loves an adventure. We even stopped at a hidden swimming hole where the water was crystal clear—something we never would’ve found on our own. Family run operation with that personal touch. The fruit, towels and bottles water at the end was a nice touch of luxury. If you do only one excursion here, make it this one!

5.00Fantastic time tubing with our guides Alex and Andres. Lots of water due to the recent rain so rapids were great fun but very safe. Still able to swim and enjoy a rope swing and we saw howler monkeys, a sloth and a toucan. Definitely recommend.

5.00Tubing down the Rio Celeste was an unforgettable experience! The vibrant blue water, lush jungle surroundings, and awesome ride made it feel 10x cooler! Our guide was amazing—pointing out sloths, toucans, and other wildlife along the way. A perfect mix of adventure and nature! Totally recommend

5.00Our family, including kids ages 14,11 and 8 loved this tubing tour! The guides Lindbergh and Alex took their time to talk to us and show us things along the way. We even saw a mama and baby sloth. The kids said it was their favorite thing we have done in La Fortuna so far! Towels and transportation are provided as well as fruit and water bottles at the end! Highly recommend!
