Day 1

Tumpak Sewu Adventure

Tumpak Sewu Waterfall

The journey begins with a morning pick-up from your accommodation in Malang. Enjoy a scenic drive through the East Java countryside on your way to Lumajang, home to the magnificent Tumpak Sewu Waterfall. Upon arrival, the adventure begins! Trek through forest paths and small rivers to reach the waterfall’s base, where you’ll be greeted by a spectacular panorama of hundreds of cascades flowing between lush green cliffs. After exploring, taking photos, and soaking in the natural beauty, you’ll be driven back to Malang to rest.

Day 2

Mount Bromo Exploration and Go to Banyuwangi

Mount Bromo

At midnight, you’ll be picked up from Malang for your next adventur, the Mount Bromo Sunrise Tour. A 4WD Jeep will take you across the Sea of Sand to one of the best viewpoints to witness the sunrise over Mount Bromo, Semeru, and Batok, an iconic moment you won’t want to miss. After sunrise, continue exploring the Bromo area, including Bromo Crater, Widodaren Hill, Whispering Sand, and the Teletubbies Hill savanna. Around noon, the journey continues to Banyuwangi, where you’ll rest before the next night’s hike to Mount Ijen. Thus, you have to bring all of your belonging when doing this Bromo tour.

Day 3

Mount Ijen and Blue Fire Midnight Trekking

Mountain Ijen Kaldera Adventure

That night, your adventure continues at the Ijen Crater, one of the world’s most unique natural wonders. After a brief health check, you’ll begin the hike to the summit to witness the mesmerizing Blue Fire, visible only before dawn. As the sun rises, enjoy the breathtaking view of the turquoise crater lake, a perfect blend of beauty and serenity. After descending back to Paltuding Post, relax with a warm snack before returning to your accommodation in Banyuwangi.

What I loved most was how punctual everything was, yet it never felt strict or rushed. The schedule was managed beautifully. We had enough rest, enough time to take photos, and plenty of moments to simply enjoy ourselves. It felt efficient without being exhausting. Even the driver knew exactly which routes would get crowded and quickly found smoother alternatives, especially when heading to a sunset viewpoint around Mount Bromo. Because of that, we avoided traffic and still caught the view at the perfect moment.
