Get ready for a day of sun, sea, and stories! Our Coast Guard certified crew members, who also call these islands home, will keep you laughing and entertained with pirate tales, island legends, and insider secrets as we sail across the sparkling Pillsbury Sound.
We’ll drop anchor in a secret cove where you can swim alongside playful sea turtles and stingrays while enjoying fresh NY Style Pizza from Pizza Pi. We will then set sail again and navigate through the scenic St. James Cut as we head towards St. John where our adventure continues at the Virgin Islands National Park. Here you’ll snorkel, splash, and swim in some of the clearest turquoise waters in the Caribbean before we pick up anchor for a relaxing sunset sail with a champagne toast to end the day.

What To Expect
We drop anchor in one of the most protected Coves in the US Virgin Islands. The snorkeling is amazing here!! We order lunch from Pizza Pi VI (The worlds only Pizza Boat) and have our pizza delivered by a dingy. Enjoy a delicious pizza in one of the beautiful settings imaginable.

5.00We had a great time on the Pizza Pi snorkel excursion, our captain Tyler and first mate Robin did an amazing job! So much Fun with to do with friends and got to make some new ones too as everyone was so friendly! Saw Turtles and got to swim with them, so cool!

5.00This was our fourth charter with Stormy Pirates and it continued to live up to expectations! The crew (Brendan, Brandon, Kevin and Jackson) were exceptional - it was like having a private concierge. We went to the Baths on Virgin Gorda and White Bay on Jost Van Dyke. This team does a superb job - I cannot recommend them enough! A 10/10 experience from start to finish.

5.00The whole trip was fantastic! Heather and Jon were very knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. The snorkeling was amazing. We saw turtles, rays, a shark, and many many different types of fish! The sunset back was gorgeous! And the homemade cookies were delicious.

5.00David and Maggie were FANTASTIC!! David is a great Captain and Maggie an amazing First Mate!! The Catamaran was in perfect condition and Maggie kept the beverages fresh and full!! The seas were a little rough but David managed the boat very well. I would certainly recommend this to anyone who would enjoy a personal and up-front vacation excursion in the beautiful Caribbean Island waters.

5.00This trip was amazing! Pizza Pi was closed which was a bummer, but the pizza from town was good. We saw several turtles, including one that surfaced right next to us! The catamaran was very nice and our crew of John and Jackson made sure everything was safe, fun and informative. The wind cooperated and we were able to sail a bit, which was so peaceful. Overall it was a great trip and I would highly recommend Stormy Pirates while in the US VI!

5.00We took the Turtle, Pi and sunset cruise and it was amazing! Captain John and first mate Justin (I might have that name wrong, but he was originally from Colorado) were phenomenal. We were able to see turtles at the first stop we went to. The First Mate made sure drinks were flowing all day and made sure everyone was happy. I would definitely do this excursion again!

5.00We’ve been visiting St. Thomas and St. John for five years, and this was hands down the BEST boat excursion we’ve ever taken! The Stormy Pirates Sunset & Pizza Pi tour was everything we hoped for and more. Captain Tyler and Jackson made the day unforgettable. They were friendly, laid-back, and full of local knowledge that kept our kids repeating fun facts and stories long after we got off the boat. It felt personal, not scripted, which made learning about the islands even more special. The bar was perfectly stocked, and Jackson made sure our cups were never empty. Tyler proved himself to be an expert captain, even skillfully outmaneuvering a passing storm so we barely noticed it. The snorkeling stops were epic—our family spotted turtles, a spotted eagle ray, squid, and more colorful fish than we could count. As the perfect finale, we cruised back while watching a breathtaking sunset. Unlike many charters that feel rushed or overcrowded, Stormy Pirates kept it relaxed and just right. We never once felt like “tourists on a schedule.” If you’re in St. Thomas and want the best experience on the water, book with Stormy Pirates. And if you can, request Tyler and Jackson—you’ll be in the best hands possible. 🌊🍕🌅

5.00This is a very well run charter company and the boat and our day on the water was really excellent. Meeting in the lobby at the front of the marina was clearly marked and organized. The boat was clean. David our captain and Kevin the first mate were a perfect combination of laid back, fun, yet professional. They provided interesting information and stories about the islands along the way and best tips for our destinations. Kevin was also spot on making everyone comfortable with good music, tasty drinks and light snacks. The pizza was pretty good too. We saw eagle rays, turtles, sting rays, and even a shipwreck. I was also happy that even though we did not have a full boat (low season) they still took our group out and made the day even more special by spending time with us and getting to know our small group. I will for sure be bringing the family on a Stormy Pirates trip when we return next time!!! 5 Stars
