El Yunque National Forest
The Rainforest & Bio Bay Tour is simply a must! Experience Puerto Rico’s two greatest natural attractions starting with a scenic drive and a stop at a local fruit stand. After an interpretive hike on natural trails lined with beautiful flora and fauna, as well as some river wading and rock scaling, we will arrive at a hidden gem in the heart of the majestic El Yunque National Rainforest. In this breathtaking segment of the forest, you can swim in natural pools, refresh under waterfalls, slide down exhilarating waterslides, swing from ropes into the river, jump from different rock formations, and simply relax to the sounds of cascading waters while soaking in the beauty of this very special place. Enjoy dinner and a break at a local restaurant before the Bio Bay tour.
Laguna Grande
After receiving a few kayaking tips, we will kayak approximately 30 minutes through the Red Mangrove Forest to reach the Bioluminescent Lagoon. Along the way, your Eco Guides will point out the forest's beautiful protected flora and fauna. Upon arrival at Laguna Grande, the sun will set, and the magic will begin. With every stroke of your paddle, sparkles will appear in the water. The kayaks will create a swirl of light, and the fish will glow in the darkness of the water.

Amari and Jami were great tour guides! Very informative, kind, and patient! You definitely will have a great tour with these two. Recommend bringing two suits, long sleeve/pants for kayaking, extra shoes if you can - invest in water sandals like keen that have a thick sole and toe protection. Have a wick free towel if possible. You will not be needing backpack for the jungle tour - you’ll leave your stuff in the bus/vehicle. Dinner good and generous (which you’ll pay for). Can’t recommend enough

This was a 2 part adventure. The trip to El yunque was excellent for our family of 4 with 3 young people 14-17 and 23 yrs old. The tour guides Amaury and Bradley were fantastic with knowledge of the Forrest and taking time to explain the plan and sights to all. They did an amazing job with safety of all people on the tour. 5 starts for them. They took a lot of pictures of the group and individuals for us which helped lessen the burden of figurine the best Picture moment - A plus on sound that- pictures were sent on reservation email. The dinner stop before kayaking had great food and drinks at the marina. They also have a game area with a beautiful view to relax after dinner before the next adventure. The kayaking part was second. Super well organized for a large group of inexperienced kayakers. Kept every safe and worked around the full moon, night bright sky to make the experience better. There are plenty of kayaker guides to help everyone. High recommend doing this 2 activity- adventure!

This expense was amazing and I definitely would recommend it as a way to see both the rainforest and bio bay. The included transportation is definitely a plus. I’ll list some pros and cons as well as notes below. Pros: the guides are extremely helpful and informative. They make sure if you want to do it you are able to. The kayaking is a separate experience with different guides, who are equally as good. The smoothie place you stop at on the way was really good and the provide fruit, drinks, and snacks after the hiking. Cons: this trip definitely isn’t for someone who doesn’t want to put the work in. They let you stay back and skip the cliff jump, water slide, and rope swing if you want but I feel like if you do that you’re missing out on a lot of the experience. They had us order the food for dinner in the morning and it wasn’t ready until an hour and a half after we got to the restaurant. Tips: they say to bring extra clothes and towels but we didn’t use either. There’s not much time to dry off. For the change of clothes you get wet during the hiking and the kayaking so there’s no point in changing between the two. I would recommend a long sleeve shirt for the kayaking to avoid mosquitoes. You do need good hiking shoes that get fully submerged during the hiking, we brought flip flops so we wouldn’t be in wet sneakers and socks the rest of the day. You don’t need much honestly, we over packed. They provide water and snacks throughout the day. You CANT bring anything with you into the forest, everything is left secured on the bus. Leave jewelry and valuables at your hotel. Overall this was an amazing experience and i definitely would recommend this over anything else. The staff is very kind, helpful, and responsive.

I was expecting the rain forest hike to be more than just a hike to the waterfall. I did enjoy the kayak ride but could have lasted longer
