Hosted by a member of the Tyrrell’s team, enjoy an in-depth exploration through the ages of our flagship Winemaker’s Selection: Vat 1 Semillon. Since its inception in 1962, the Winemaker’s Selection Vat 1 Semillon has become Australia's most awarded white wine. Through this vertical tasting you will experience and learn about the epitomised benefits of patient bottle ageing that transforms this unoaked wine into a masterpiece. This experience includes a winery tour followed by a 6 vintage vertical tasting of Vat 1 Semillon accompanied by locally sourced cheeses.

5.00Our host couldn’t have been more friendly. We were visiting for the British and Irish Lions Tour. We had 9 wines including the Bat 1 in a relaxed and informative atmosphere. Will definitely come back as and when cost Australia again. The tho g that most impressed us is for an iconic winery it clearly doesn’t invite coach parties so small and intimate atmosphere. Will be sourcing some Vat 1 ( it really is that good) in the Uk. Thank you for a memorable experience

5.00We popped into Tyrell’s (calling just half an hour before to book) for wine tasting. The winery is well maintained and the surroundings are beautiful. We couldn’t fault the service we received. Steph was amazing! We could have sat and chatted to her for ages! Super educated on the wines, but also an all round nice girl to chat to! We truly feel she made our experience great. We tried several delicious wines and eventually decided on one to purchase. We were walking from our accommodation and Steph kindly offered to fill our water bottles. The wine bottle bags were also extremely sturdy and we are pleased to report that our wine made it back safely! 10/10 winery.
