The experience was cancelled. I did not receive a notice and only saw a note in the event chat when I was at the meeting place. The operator promptly responded indicating they processed a cancellation and I’m still waiting the confirmation of a refund.

We had such a great time on this tour, and Kelvin was a big reason why it was so memorable. He was super friendly, knowledgeable and made us feel like we were exploring with a local friend rather than just following a guide. The food was soooo delicious, we tried juicy local jerky, classic Hainanese chicken rice and a bunch of other authentic Singaporean dishes we might never have found on our own. But what made it even better was how Kelvin explained the stories and history behind everything we ate. He gave us real insight into Singapore’s hawker culture and how it’s shaped by the country’s unique mix of cultures. He also shared fun tips on how to order like a local, what to look for at a hawker centre and even pointed out little cultural details around Chinatown that we would have totally missed otherwise. If you’re visiting Singapore and want to go beyond just eating good food (if you want to understand it) this tour is a must. And if you get Kelvin as your guide, you’re in for a special and unforgettable treat. Highly recommend!

It was an incredible experience to learn more about Singapore and eat some of the local food. Kelvin was very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions. He was great and made it a great experience! The only negative is the tour noted we’d eat 9-10 food items and we only had 6. I also noticed a few of the items were samples from the store so they would’ve been free.

We booked the Hawker Culture Chinatown Food Tasting Tour while still in Australia, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our Singapore trip. From the outset, our host, Ronnie, gave clear and detailed instructions on where to meet, then expertly guided us through the bustling streets and hidden corners of Chinatown. As we walked (with purpose), we sampled an incredible variety of dishes, each one better than the last. Ronnie's deep knowledge and engaging storytelling brought the area's rich history to life and added real depth to the experience. Every food stop was a winner, and we came away with a whole new appreciation for the Hawker centres—it's easy to see why they’re such a big deal for both locals and visitors. You definitely won’t go hungry on this tour, so come with an empty stomach! Big thanks to Ronnie for making the day not just tasty, but truly memorable.

Our family took this tour and we all had a great time! In addition to exploring various foods, the tour also covered some of the history and architecture of Chinatown which was a nice touch. Our tour guide was Jeannette and she did an excellent job. We recommend this tour to anyone who wants to have a unique experience learning more about Chinatown while eating lots of amazing food!

Incredible tour with Edwin! Not only for the food, but his knowledge about Singapore was extensive, interesting, and insightful. Also, he was so accommodating with our dietary restrictions (one vegetarian and one who doesn’t eat beef). We got a great sample of some of Singapore’s most famous dishes. Highly recommend, thank you Edwin!
