  • They left us lying in the hotel in Bucharest without transport to take us back to the airport in Madrid

    - Review from Tripadvisor

The Bulgarian guide had very good intentions but was very monotonous and did not know how to pass on its knowledge. However, Romania's was very good. Regarding the hotels, some were better than others and were not 4 stars as we know it in Spain: three stars if anything. Transportation through Romania was a little cumbersome as we were eight travelers and the driver and guide in a closed minibus and small, so 8 hours in a journey became endless at some point. The food was fine and the places we visited too. The negative (very negative) is that we were not picked up on the last day at the hotel in Bucharest: we were informed that they would pick us up at 5 am to take us to the airport and nobody showed up there. After waiting for half an hour and with the fear of missing the flight, we managed to order 3 taxis (which did not admit euros or credit card in some of them and we did not have Romanian currency), we moved on our own and finished the circuit with a bittersweet taste and the feeling of having been conned.
