The private boat is obviously better than the mass tourism boats with loads of people, the boat captain was nice , i just wish he spoke some English which i was expecting on a private tour. The first empty desert island was nice , the pig island was a waste of time with thousands of people, the snorkeling point was also a mass tourist point with boats unloading their load of tourists, thrown some crackers at the few fish . Just dead coral and few common fish. Lunch was nice

Don't trust a word in the Trip Advisor advertisement. We paid for a six hour boat tour. The Trip Advisor listing explicitly says "Duration: 6h." The boat driver took us back to the pier after 2 hours and 45 minutes on the boat. I have time stamped pictures to prove that amount of time. We asked for more time on the boat since that is what we paid for. The boat driver refused and gave no explanation for why he was ending our tour early. The Trip Advisor listing also explicitly says “you will get kayaks.” We were never offered kayaks. When we asked for them, we were ignored. I wouldn't have booked this tour if they weren't offering kayaks so that was a huge let down. The listing says we would snorkel at “the coral reef of Koh Tan.” We never went to a coral reef. We went to a small sandy area covered in garbage. It was disgusting. The listing also says “Stop At: Lipa Noi Beach, Lipa Noi Thailand.” We never went to this beach. We never boated anywhere near that side of the island. They completely skipped this part of the tour and never explained why. The boat was filthy and old. The boat driver was smoking during the tour. After the boat driver ended the tour over 50% early, I brought all this to the attention of the tour operator via WhatsApp. The tour operator was rude, unhelpful, and argumentative.

The trip went exactly as we had hoped and expected. It went well, we saw what we wanted to see. Though the snorkeling would have been a bit better if the recent floods hadn't muddied the water (of course, this is nothing that reflects badly on the tour operators), we could still see some local marine wildlife. A tad bit more guidance would have been helpful here to know where to look. The bird's nest islands were interesting to see, but some background information about it would have been appreciated, e.g. where the huts on some (all?) of them came from and how the islands themselves came into existence. Ultimately, the pig island was the highlight. Those pigs were lovely and it was fantastic spending time with them. Once again, however, a little guidance would have gone a long way: where to buy pig feed, not to give it to them by hand (I got lightly bit by one extra ravenous one) etc. Overall, a great tour that I can recommend and would do again without hesitation, but with some minor points to improve.

We treated ourselves to a private tour for Xmas. The guides had zero customer service ability. Tried to ask questions about the islands we were going past and he shrugged his shoulders. They made no attempt to try and tell us about the area and what we were seeing. It was a tick box exercise. Go past islands and drop them off. We wanted some interaction, learn about the area, to have a smile. Koh Tan the first island was heart breaking. Litter from the sea everywhere. It was like trying to sun bath next bins that has been knocked over. It needs the companies that benefit from making money from the tours to go over with a boat full of bin liners and clean it up. Big sheets of plastic floating in the sea, broken glass bottles on the beach. Pick up as much as we could. The total tour lasted 2.5 hours in total which was not worth the three hundred odd we paid. The taxi driver to the boat made more effort with us than the team on the boat. The boat was a unnecessarily bumpy ride. There are other cheaper tours out there.

We got picked up from a cruise ship - right by where the tenders docked. Timely transfer to the speedboat. Two crew were pleasant but very little English. It was quite a windy day and seas were rough- not good for snorkeling and transfer between island was not pleasant.

Was great to have the boat for just 4 people. We were able to set our own schedule. Lunch was excellent. The colour of the water is beautiful. Snorkelling was not great because of the conditions but that is not any fault of the operators. Wouldn’t go to log island again it was crowded and very touristy. Overall a great experience.

We had an enjoyable day on this tour. My husband and I were impressed by the boat, the crew and the gorgeous views we were exposed to for this trip. Lunch was provided and delicious, catered to food allergies if needed. We got some excellent photos and enjoyed the snorkeling, swings on Koh Tan and the warm, blue water of Madsum. We were picked up and dropped off from our hotel. Thanks to Max and boat crew for a fun day!

The staff was very nice on board the boat as on the islands. However the island where we eat is relatively dirty (plastic and other). The meal was good and varied. Disappointed by snorkelling with cloudy seas, but hey, these are the vagaries of time. The explanations are interesting and relevant, our guide takes time to answer our questions is perfect. I recommend this excursion.
