We're from France and are currently on vacation in Colorado Springs. My children and I were eager to visit the museum. The visit was excellent, and the children thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The staff was lovely, kind, and very attentive, which greatly contributed to the quality of our visit. The only thing we felt could be improved was the prices of the items in the gift shop, which we found rather high.

We were blown away by the museum, it was so much fun for the entire family (our kids are 8 and 6). The interactive exhibits and memorabilia was amazing . We will be back soon without a doubt!

Museums are not for me, but it was raining and I was with my mother who has difficulty walking. I was happy that we chose it. The technology is incredible. There was a lot of thought and effort that went into this museum, so I hope that more people visit. They have 1 of 2 complete sets of all the Olympic torches and the only full set of Olympic medals. They have an interactive experience for kids and teens (or adults who want to try). It is user friendly and easy to navigate. It's a nice casual way to spend a few hours.

The Museum really captured the Olympic spirit. The space is not very big, but it was jam-packed with artifacts, stories, and interactive displays that utilized technology to personalize the experience and make it more accessible. We were especially impressed that the Paralympics got equal recognition throughout the museum and was not treated as a footnote. We could not give it five stars because we ran into some difficulties getting the interactive sports activities to work as intended. It was frustrating. Other than that, we enjoyed our visit.

We were able to purchase admission (without guides) as walk-ups. We left our backpacks with staff who put them away and returned them at the end of our visit. We enjoyed reading the many descriptions of displayed items and viewing the video at the end of the visit. It brought to the forefront events and athletes we had heard about and seen in news from childhood and on up. We were able to move from exhibit to exhibit easily with the attendance that day. There are restrooms along the way and a gift shop at the end. History buffs would enjoy visiting.

We went on July 31, 2025 and the tour guide was well informed and interesting. However, at certain times during our tour she swerved into commentary that seemed to be unnecessary. While talking bout the black power protest of Tommie Smith and John Carlos during the 1968 Olympics (an important historical event, to be sure), she veered into criticism of the current political climate in a way that was inappropriate and off-putting. I was disappointed and taken out of the 1968 context. Please leave politics out of it (at least the ones that aren't relevant). Being a tour guide is not the place to vent personal political views, especially when half your potential paying audience may not feel the way you do. I also echo other statements here: the museum building is beautiful but the displays seem sparse. There are long, under-utilized hallways and corners, and many of the artifacts, while interesting, don't really tell a story. So much potential here, but for $30 per person it's not the greatest value. We are museum completists but still finished the tour in about 90 minutes. I was hoping for more and hope it can improve, but I would hesitate to recommend this to anyone visiting the area. Three stars, but one added for the amazing building.

Take time to read the all of the facts posted in the museum. Lots of fascinating information. Watch the movie at the end. It really ties up the visit. Fantastic.

I visited the museum for a research project and it was fantastic! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and we learned so much about the American athletes as well as the various sites for the Olympics. The collection is vast and the ending film was well produced. A must see for anyone with Olympic dreams or fans of Olympic sports.

Our family almost decided to skip the museum, but we're sure glad we didn't. It had the right amount of interactive displays to keep us engaged. We especially enjoyed competing against each other in the games. I feel that most of the focus of the public is on the Olympics, so I appreciated that the Paralympics got equal mention. I enjoyed learning about these athletes and their sports. We can't wait for the winter games next year!

Very informative. Beautiful displays, film footage and narration. The info is current and goes back to the first Olympics.
