DAY 1 UYUNI –UYUNI SALT FLAT – UYUNI We will pick you up from your hotel at 10:00, first we will visit the Train Cemetery and the town of Colchani where you can learn more about Uyuni’s mining past and its artisanal salt production present, later we will enter to the amazing Uyuni Salt Flat, and arrive to the “Salt Hotel-Museum”, the first of its kind that nowadays works only as a museum. On our way we will be able to see fantastic optic illusions, able to see in raining season (December- March), and also we will visit “Ojos de Agua” (Eyes of water), small salt eruptions which help us to explain the development of this huge salt lake. At noon, you will reach the “Incahuasi Island” in the middle of the Salt flat; there are extraordinary calcareous rocks, large populations of Cactus, local fauna and spectacular 360 grades panoramic views of the salt flat from the summit. Sunset at the border of the salt flat and overnight in Uyuni.
Laguna Hedionda
DAY 2: COQUESA - LAGUNA HEDIONDA (MINOR LAGOONS) We will start the day visiting a local museum to see pre-Columbian mummies and later we will get to the Salt Flat viewpoint at the foot of the Thunupa volcano. Leaving the salt flat behind we will travel along the volcanoes range with their eternal snow going to Lípez, there we will find the Ollagüe Volcano that we will observe at the distance. Then we restart the trip to the Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve, on our way we will appreciate the lagoons called “Joyas Altoandinas” (Jewels from the High lands): Cañapa, Hedionda, Chiarcota and Honda where you will have the chance to see different kinds of local birds. This was one of the most incredible experiences my family ever had. The agency was very professional the buses that took is from La Paz to Uyuni were formidable, the tour guide/driver was waiting for us at the bus station with the 4WD that would take us through the salt flats took our bags gave us time to have breakfast and the tour started. The tour guide was very professional as driver, as photographer and as a chef, yes a chef, he stopped at restaurant between the ollague volcano and Uyuni and made a meal for my family before we continue our Journey through the different lagunas. Hands down this travel agency is one of the best agencies I have dealt with. My family is always traveling and this is one of the agencies that gave us the best experience. I strongly recommend using their services

I took the 3 day tour "Bolivia Trip" at the Salar de Uyuni and the Abaroa Reserve, where the red and green lagoons are located, and from the Bolivia-Chile border in Hito Cajon took a 1 hour bus to San Pedro de Atacama. It was a great experience since I am travelling alone and I shared the tour with 3 other UK travellers. The price included 4x4 transporation, accommodation at amazing hotels with heating, private bathrooms and double rooms and all of the meals. The driver Raúl was very helpful , professional and made us fell safe all of the time. Guidance is not included but the tour includes a mobile app that in an audio describes the attractions that we visited. Late Bolivia, thank you for this great experience, I loved the Salt flats!

We did the 3d/2n tours departing from and returning to Uyuni. I was a bit skeptical beforehand because of all the things you can read on bad drivers in the salar. Our driver Noel had barely any english (we knew that - you've to pay extra to get an English speaking guide ) but did everything he could to make our trip memorable. He took so many pictures of us - he knew our phones better than we do !! He was super careful driving one sometimes quite scary road and brought oxygen and satellite phone. We were on our own too which was great. The two accomodations were really really nice - great rooms with plenty of blankets, really really good food and super staff. Highly recommend late Bolivia - it's pricier than other ones but it's super safe and everything is planned perfectly. They're also great at responding super quickly to emails.

After investigating between several companies, we chose to hire the Salar de Uyuni tour with Late Bolivia and it was really the best decision we could have made. We did the Bolivia Trip, organized by Late Bolivia, in which we travel only us and there is a maximum of 4 passengers per mobility. Late Bolivia complied with everything it offered, from punctuality, the services included (water throughout the tour, abundant meals and Tayka hotels, which are really excellent) and comfort in the 4x4. Thank you for having made our experience in Bolivia, better than we imagined.

We spend 3 days/ 2 nights on this trip to the Salar de Uyuni. The driver/guide was very well oriented, and spoke a lot of the places we went by. In a mixture of Spanish and a little english. He stopped all the places we wanted to stop, and many times he suggested places to stop. He also prepared lunch for us, during the day -excellent. We were 3 people, from Denmark: parents and a teenager age 19. So in order to fill the 4WD car, there was a yet another person whom we didn't know, joining us. It was a highly enjoyable trip. One great scenary replaced the previous. Cant' really tell which was the greatest. Maybe the lagoons -espceially the Laguna Colorada. Also we had good support from our Tour Operador - Late Bolivia. Oscar phoned and wrote to us several times during the trip, to make sure, that everything was OK. Also the Takya hotels were nice, especially considering the location in-the-middle-of nowhere. One of them, 4.600 m. high, was .... lets say ....kind of cold .... but the food was nice and the restaurant OK warm, from gas heating. Highly recommendable trip and Tour operador - Late Bolivia

You don't have to "rough it" in hostels & cramped buses to see the Uyuni Salt Flats!! If you want a comfortable, more enjoyable trip to visit the Uyuni Salt Flats, Bolivia Trip Tours offers a better way to experience the Uyuni Salt Flats compared to the typical backpacker options. Bolivia Trip Tours stands apart from the other tours offered in Uyuni. The maximum number of people per group is 4 (compared to the standard 6). The Jeep you'll be spending a lot of time in seats 6 people MAX, including one person up front with the driver, one person in the middle hump, and 2 people in the far back pop-up seats. You'll be spending a LOT of time in the jeeps, and trust me, it's much more comfortable with less people and more space in the car!! On both nights of the tour you'll have your own private hotel room with private bathroom, plenty of hot water, heating in the room, and power/outlets in your room to charge your devices. On the other tours, the first night you can pay a bit extra to have your own private room and bathroom, but the second night, as you’re further in the desert, the only option is a shared dorm with no private bathroom, and you can forget about a hot shower. And despite it being a "desert" it gets COLD at night so you definitely don't want to have to suffer through a cold shower! Another thing to consider -- these places are literally out in the middle of the desert with no access to electricity. They only power they have for heating, hot water, and electricity is solar powered. Most of the other places only turn on the power for one hour at night and there’s a rush for charging your camera and other electronics. Some hotels even charge you for using an outlet! Highly recommend Bolivia Trip Tours if you want a more comfortable, enjoyable way to experience the Uyuni Salt Flats!!
