Our group had an incredible experience with our absolutely wonderful guide, Nicole. She was extremely knowledgeable of Valencia’s history and culture, and her energy and wit were truly appreciated. To top it all off, the food was mind blowing, and the drinks were nothing short of delicious. Nicole also had extensive knowledge of the tapas and wines, which made dinner so much more immersive and fun. 10/10 would recommend! Thanks Nicole!

If you're looking for an authentic way to experience Valencia, a tapas and wine tour with Martha is an absolute must. This isn't just a food tour—it's a masterclass in Valencian culture, history, and culinary tradition. Martha who grew up in Valencia proved to be the perfect guide, weaving together the rich tapestry of Valencia's history as we explored the city on foot. She brought the past to life with stories about Valencia's Moorish heritage, the silk trade, and the city's evolution over centuries. Her knowledge was encyclopedic yet never overwhelming; she has a gift for making history feel alive and relevant. The tour culminated in a remarkable 11th-century space where we enjoyed our tapas and wine tasting. There's something magical about savoring modern Valencian cuisine surrounded by an ancient stone wall—it created a tangible connection between the history we'd just learned and the food on our plates. The tapas were exceptional and thoughtfully paired with regional wines showcasing local producers. From classic dishes to regional specialties I wouldn't have discovered on my own, every bite felt authentic and delicious. Martha's passion for her city is contagious. By the end of the tour, you'll leave with not just a full stomach, but a genuine appreciation for Valencia's culture and story—all experienced in a setting that has witnessed centuries of that very history.

Mimi was our guide, and she was absolutely amazing. I can’t think of a tour I’ve enjoyed better than this one. The food and drinks were sublime, add to that the fact that this group of 10 people all fitted together as if they had been hand-picked. It was a hoot from start to finish. 2 Canadians, 1 Austrian, 1 Dutch, 1 Belgian, 4 English and a Scotsman.

Absolutely incredible tour. Highly recommended if you like history and food. Price is set fairly, and we feel like we got our money’s worth. Time was pretty evenly split between a walking tour of Valencia’s old town and a tapas and wine tasting. Both halves of the experience exceeded our expectations. Our guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about Valencia and taught us a lot about the city and its history. The food and wine were tasty, fresh, and a lovely display of Valencia’s incredible food culture. They even adapted rapidly to dietary restrictions and masterfully accommodated gluten-free diets as well as pregnant women. We even learned that the chef was a new hire, but we never would have guessed based on how delicious the food was. Please keep her on your team! Our guide did a great job of making everyone feel welcome. In total, 7 people went on this tour, and that’s the perfect small group size. I suspect the tour can accommodate slightly more, but even fully booked, you won’t feel lost in a sea of other tourists.

Mimi was a great and well informed guide with a lot of humour and insight. She knew València and its history and treasures. She was an even better hostess at the tapas party after and everyone had a great time and continued the night out after the formal tour ended. Highly recommend.

I recently joined the Old Town Tour and it was truly a relaxing and enriching experience from beginning to end. We first explored the beautiful Old Town, walking through charming streets and learning about the city’s fascinating history, architecture, and local traditions. The pace was perfect — never rushed, very comfortable, and ideal for really taking in the atmosphere. It felt peaceful, informative, and genuinely enjoyable. After the tour, we headed to an amazing venue for the tasting experience. The food and wine were absolutely outstanding! Everything was beautifully presented, full of flavor, and perfectly selected. It was the perfect way to end the tour — sitting back, relaxing, and enjoying high-quality local specialties in such a lovely setting. A big thank you to our wonderful tour guide, Mimi, who made the entire experience so special. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate, and she created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone. I highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for a combination of history, relaxation, and incredible food and wine! 🍷✨
