Early November is a great time to visit Valencia - moderate temperatures, clear skies, little wind (fewer tourists too! And maybe I just had great weather...). So it was a perfect start to the tour. What a great tour! Ellie was an absolute star - friendly and knowledgable. The 1.5 hour walking tour was a good balance of info and sight seeing. And the tapas and wine pairing was excellent - an intimate lovely venue in the Old town. All of those on the tour agreed that this was excellent value for money - worth every cent.

What a wonderful experience! Ellie was a great tour guide, sharing great knowledge and history of València in an engaging manner. She did a great job hosting in evening with the range of wines and tapas sharing her knowledge on them - it was all so delicious! The time flew by, I met some lovely people from all around the world and we all had a brilliant time, we didn’t want the evening to end! I highly recommend this tour!

Never was able to find the tour guide. We are in our 80s and wound up aimlessly walking in circles for two hours. The meeting place should be at the entrance, not in the middle of a town with streets going in all different directions. Unless you are very astute in technology and navigation stay away from this one. Also a loss of a sizable payment One of the most unpleasant days experienced in all the years of taking tours.

This started as a 90 minute walking tour of the old town area of Valencia but finished like a party with several delicious tapas dishes and local wines. Our guide Ellie introduced us to the sights of the old town area in Valencia, telling us about the history of the area. It was an easy, flat walk. The tour guide does not use a headset but the group was fairly small and most of the time we had no trouble hearing Ellie clearly. The highlight of this tour was the gathering at the end where we enjoyed tapas and sampling Spanish wines in a lovely historical building with a beautiful courtyard. There is a wall from the 11th century on one side of the courtyard. Once we stepped into this space the tour began to feel like a bit of a party as we sat chatting with the other people on the tour. Ellie described each wine and each tapas dish as they were served. We met some interesting people and within minutes we were talking and laughing. When it began to get dark we moved inside and gathered around at a long table. This tour exceeded my expectations and I would totally recommend it. It’s also a great way to meet people if you happen to be travelling solo.

We met up with our guide Martha at 1pm to commence the tour of the old city. The tour moved along at a leisurely pace with Martha providing a narrative that was informative and captivating. Valencia is a beautiful city filled with history and many attractions including the market and many churches. The tour concluded with wine and tapas tastings inside the wall of one of the old buildings. Here we got to know our fellow travelers with Martha providing the background story on each offering. An overall great experience with wonderful people and a knowledgeable, funny guide filled with pride and passion for the history and attentions of her native region. Thank you Martha for a great afternoon!
