5.00This was an absolute highlight of our fortnight long visit to the beautiful city of Vienna. Set amongst the stunning and historical backdrop of St Peter's Church, four absolutely amazing musicians played music written by Austrian, particularly Viennese composers. The concert was just over an hour long and the crowd filled about the first 10 pews of the church (Probably more, I just couldn't see them) I cannot describe the atmosphere, it was superb and a great way to celebrate the start of a New Year. I highly recommend this activity.

1.00This was my 4th and LAST New Years Eve Sylvester Ball, Vienna, Austria. The previous 3 balls were held at the Hofburg Palace, Vienna, Austria, which were magical. The NYE ball is no longer offered at the Hofburg and is now held at the Rathaus in Vienna instead. Very disappointing! Table placements make it impossible to view the dance performances, except on various video screens! The corregraphed dance performances were substandard to those done on a professional level at the Hofburg. This is a much less formal affair than our previous experiences in Vienna. The meal was very disappointing and tasteless.

4.00The music and the quartet that played was fabulous. The only negative was having to deal with an older man who was seating people before the show who was absolutely rude to my family and a number of other patrons.
Wrong time posted by Viator so I missed part of the concert!

2.00The Viator Folks had the wrong time so when I thought I arrived a half hour early, I was actually about 15 minutes late to the concert. Also, my husband got sick and couldn't attend so no money back for that either. The musicians and the venue were wonderful.

5.00The church is beautiful and the concert was great. It is pretty chilly in the church in the winter so bring a jacket as you'll be wearing it for the performance. Also you turn your tickets in at the front of the church so it may be easier to print them out before hand for this.
