We had a great time during our 16 days trip to Thailand and Vietnam. Our tour consultant Long Pham was great. He did a wonderful job keeping in touch with us daily and explaining each day’s itinerary. Due to unforeseen circumstances they had to make one itinerary change and we were notified by Long Pham in advance. The itinerary change turned out good and we had a great time at the new location ( Sapa, Vietnam )

LET OTHER TRAVELERS KNOW WHAT YOU THINK OF THIS TOUR: The trip was 5 Star. Our dedicated coordinator, Thang, was unbelievable and took care of every special need after we had to move tours / hotel dates around and having to leave and return to the trip due to a family member’s death. He went above and beyond in all areas. Transfers to and from the airport were extremely smooth. The hotels were good, and the tour guides were outstanding. Always on time to include the transfers to and from the tours. Breakfast was provided at all hotels and had many selections. Thank you. Mark and Patrice LET THE OPERATOR KNOW WHAT YOU THINK OF THEIR TOUR: Dear Thang (our tour coordinator from Realist Asia) and the company of Realistic Asia, I know we’ve been quite a challenge as a client, and you have been as gracious, patient , and accommodating as anyone could possibly be. Despite the difficult circumstances with Patrice’s mother’s passing (having to move some tours around, hotel dates, transfers, and for us to fly back to the US and return to Vietnam to rejoin the vacation trip 4 days later), our trip was a wonderful experience and we would definitely recommend your company with 5 Stars, (with a special asterisk to request you as the travel coordinator). To even entertain the thought that you could have made more effort is ridiculous - you have gone above and beyond and I hate that thought would even cross your mind. No one else would take so much time and effort to ensure all of our concerns and special needs were addressed. You are a valuable asset to your company. Thank you so much for all you have done for us, and best regards to you always. Take care Mark and Patrice PS - Your boss should give you a raise or at least a bonus payment for your efforts handling our special needs.

Our trip to Vietnam and Thailand was spectacular and Ellie/Realistic Asia, was totally awesome. Ellie was so attentive and we kept constant communication during the whole trip so we knew each day what our itinerary was. We had a few snafu's but Ellie quickly addressed them and in fact gave us extra special service to mitigate the issues. I would highly recommend Ellie and Realistic Asia for any trips abroad to Asia. The activities were perfect such as our cruise on Halong Bay, riding a long boat in Tam Coc, bicycle riding with Tin Tin around rice fields and then to an adorable village called Tra' Que' for a tour around an herb garden where we learned how they plant the seedlings, water and so forth. Enjoyed petting a water buffalo that is used for tilling. We also toured the old town in Hoi An and made silk lanterns. Thailand was super awesome as well. From Bangkok where we took it easy to Chiang Mai/Ayuttaya to visit the White Temple, Blue Temple and Black House. We then traveled to Patong Beach/Phuket, where we went on a snorkeling tour which included Maya Beach, (unless you like lots of crowds then I would say, pass on this), but we enjoyed hanging around Patong beach where we spent a lot of time in the water and enjoyed the locals. We loved our trip so much that I'm hoping to go back in the near future and I would definitely reach back out to Ellie and Realistic Asia to plan our next trip. Thank you, Ellie for such a memorable experience!

My husband and I just got back from a two-week trip to Vietnam & Thailand, that we planned with Realistic Asia. I had discovered Realistic Asia some years ago when planning our first ever Asia trip and was drawn to them by their competitive prices but also because they were local. I would say our relationship started off a bit bumpy when we had a travel advisor who did not communicate clearly or timely. Part of this could have been the language barrier, but when you’re spending such a large amount of money, the details are important to ensure confidence. I reached out to the owner, Hien Do, and she was nothing short of amazing. She quickly dissolved my fears and got me placed with another agent and the rest is history. We were assigned to Chris Tran, who was beyond responsive, helpful, resourceful, and kind. He was like our own little travel agent in our pocket. Whenever we had a question, a quick WhatsApp message would be sent, and he’d be on it. Your first trip to Asia can feel overwhelming, but Chris made us feel so safe, so confident, so comfortable. He was there 24/7. I would recommend Realistic Asia to all, and I already have been to all the folks wondering how we planned such a beautiful vacation. We will return to them because they proved their value in this trip. I’m so grateful to have been in their hands during this unforgettable journey! THANK YOU!

We very much enjoyed traveling with Realistic Asia. From start to finished, Thang, our point of contact, helped us customize and personalize our vacation. We extended our stay in both Vietnam and Thailand. Thang was always available for last-minute changes, restaurant and other activities to enjoy during our trip. I highly recommend Realistic Asia for travel in Asia.

Lucy and Thang, Thank you so much for organising this wonderful trip. We had a great time. Thang was so helpful in preparing our trip and was available 24/7 for any advice. The guides have been excellent. Special shout to two guides: Tran Quoc Khai and Pond. They were exceptional in their knowledge, enthusiasm, passion and communication. They were mindful of our special diet requirements and ensured the availability of vegetarian food. Knock and Dair have been good at their knowledge but it would have been good if they expressed enthusiasm and passion. Dair didn’t understand our special dietary requirements. The experience at Novotel hotel was lower than 3* standard. The bathroom wasn’t designed for a double bedroom. The lobby had limited space. Adora hotel seems to be good overall except the fact they are mean with their water supply. 350ml x 2 bottles per day! The food provided in Tan Thach village was amazing, with plenty of choices for vegetarians.

We did the Land of Smiles Thailand & Vietnam in 16 days tour (6 days in Thailand, 10 days in Vietnam). This tour was so much fun and so interesting. We saw many different types of temples, ways of life, ate amazing food (allergies were well catered for) and met some great people. Realistic Asia were awesome to deal with and stayed in constant contact with us throughout the trip. Everything was seamless from flights, to transfers, to tour pickups. The guides were wonderful and so knowledgeable and the activities were varied and great fun. We chose the 4 star hotel option and all the hotels were lovely. We particularly enjoyed our time in Bangkok, Halong Bay, Hue, and the upper and lower Mekong region. We took our two teenage boys and they had a great time visiting the markets in each place and learned so much about Thai and Vietnamese history and culture. This tour was particularly good because it had a good balance of activities versus free time to do what you wanted which was important for me as I have mobility limitations so it allowed me to have some slower relax days as well as some very busy days.
