What To Expect
Zambezi National Park
Prepare to be amazed as you enter a different world, where a way of life continues as it has done for centuries, enabling you to go back in time. Guests are taken to an authentic rural village approximately 15 km from Victoria Falls CBD where they are given an opportunity to watch local villagers going about their daily tasks. 5.00The village tour was incredible. It’s less well known than touring the falls or going on a Safari, but it’s just as important to see and do. Seeing how people live in the homesteads that is both similar to how people have been living for centuries and how they fit in the modern world. Our guide was fantastic and helped us with cultural norms such as bringing a small gift of sugar, salt, and bread with us to say thank you for welcoming us into your home. Sugar and salt are some of the best items to bring as a gift. Those are the items of highest importance that they otherwise must trade something from their homestead to obtain. I would highly recommend for you to take this tour with our guide and this company.

1.00Do not book this trip. The operator did not confirm, had none of the details of my booking, and wasn't planning to show up on time after finally confirming early in the morning. Not an organized business. Book elsewhere.
