What To Expect
Join us for a unique experience in Siurana d’Empordà, a charming village surrounded by vineyards, wheat fields, and olive groves — a living portrait of the classical Mediterranean landscape. Nestled between the Costa Brava and the Eastern Pyrenees, and shaped by the Tramuntana wind, this land gives rise to wines full of character, authenticity, and a profound connection to the earth. We’ll begin with a peaceful walk through our organic vineyards, where you’ll discover how biodiversity helps our vines flourish. You’ll learn the secrets of biodynamic philosophy and how we honour nature’s rhythms and cycles. The visit continues in our winery, where we’ll guide you through the winemaking process. We’ll end with a guided tasting of five organic and biodynamic wines, three of them Premium, each one expressing the distinctive character of our land — a moment to savour wine in a tranquil, welcoming setting, to share impressions, and to experience the Green Winery of l’Empordà up close.

5.00How wonderful of a time, truly. From the start to finish, it was such a once in a lifetime experience! Our guide Oriol began the tour with a history of the vineyard and a walk around the property. It was very authentic and helped us understand how the vineyard came to be. After, we got a step by step process on how the wine is made. He also gave us wonderful information about the wine vats and answered all of our questions. Next, we did an excellent wine tasting and he helped explain the flavors we were tasting and how to make the most of our tasting session. Many of us on the tour were wine-newbies so it was a very helpful and welcoming experience! Finally, we had a beautifully decorated assortment of cheeses, meats, and bread. It was an unforgettable experience filled with laughter and memories that will last us a lifetime. If you want an authentic, ecological experience, do not hesitate to book this tour! Special thanks again to Oriel for making this a moment to remember.

5.00We had such a wonderful afternoon at Clos de Basella, learning about their wine making process, commitment to responsible, eco-friendly production, and tasting a wonderful selection of their cellar in a beautiful setting. We had the pleasure of meeting and being guided through our tasting by Oriol, whose expertise and kindness made the experience that much more wonderful. We were blown away at the abundance and deliciousness of the meats and cheeses we received with our tasting, and loved every wine we sampled. We walked away with several bottles, and would've happily enjoyed several more if we'd only had the space! This experience far exceeded my expectations and we would recommend anyone else traveling to this region to visit Clos de Basella or sample their wines!

5.00We had a great afternoon at the vineyard for a wine tasting with brunch. It's in a beautiful setting and all the wines and food were delicious. Thanks to Oriol for being a great tour guide and host (and answering the many, many questions from my Dad who works in agriculture and wanted to know about wind directions/ soil etc). This is quite a special vineyard as it's not focused on large scale production, and you can see the care that goes into everything - from the production of the wines to the preparation of the food we were served. This experience was a highlight of our trip and something we would definitely recommend to anyone visiting this area. We bought a couple of wines to take away, but would love to know if there is anywhere in Barcelona selling them?
