Cusco

Transfer from the airport to the hotel where we will have a welcome and briefing by a representative of Illa Kuntur Travel and in the afternoon they will have the first tour:

The tour starts at approximately 12:50 a.m. with the pick up from the hotel depending on the proximity to the historic center of Cusco. We will go together to the main square of Cusco from where the tour will begin. Our first place to visit will be the famous Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), in which we will be able to appreciate the mixture between Inca constructions (with its perfectly polished stone walls) and Spanish (the church built on the Inca walls). It will be a great day as an acclimatization to the height of Cusco and the Mountain of Colors.

Sacsayhuaman

After the visit to the Coricancha we will go out of the city towards Sacsayhuamán where we will be able to appreciate huge stone blocks weighing up to 100 tons perfectly placed one on top of the other. Our guide will explain the importance of this place since before the arrival of the Spanish and during the colony since this place witnessed one of the greatest battles between the Incas and the Spanish. We will have an hour to visit approximately, knowing the most outstanding points within the Archaeological Park of Sacsayhuaman. Without a doubt, it is an incredible place to visit in Cusco!

Q'enqo

We will continue the visit and we will take advantage of visiting the unmissable eucalyptus forest and you will enjoy taking many incredible photos with this landscape and then continue with the visit to the architectural complex of Qenqo in a visit of about 30 minutes. Puka Pukara

Then we will go by tourist bus to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, the first stop will be at the archaeologist complex of Pisac where we will take a guided tour. The next stop will be the Pisac craft market, where we can appreciate textiles and jewelry.

Then we will go to Urubamba where we will have a buffet lunch (included in the tour).

Archaeological Park Ollantaytambo

After lunch we will go to Ollantaytambo, where we will first visit the Inca archaeological complex and see its main sectors. After our visit in the archaeological park we will take you to the train station located in the same town of Ollantaytambo and we will board the Inca Rail train that will take us to Aguas Calientes (town of Machupicchu). This train ride allows you to appreciate the fascinating landscape along the sacred Vilcanota River.

Aguas Calientes

Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes or also known as the town of Machupicchu, our person will be waiting for you to take you to the corresponding hotel where you will spend the night, but not before visiting this wonderful tourist town surrounded by immense mountains and accompanied by the great Sacred River, You can also take advantage of enjoying the Hot Springs of Aguas Calientes (Optional). Around 8:00 p.m. The guide will visit you at the hotel to provide you with all the information regarding the guided tour in Machu Picchu the next day.

Machu Picchu

!The big day has arrived! After having our breakfast at the hotel we will move with our guide to the bus station in the same town. This bus will take us to the main gate of the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu where we will begin our unforgettable experience. Our guide will share all his knowledge about the history of this incredible place, we will explore with our guide the most important places and help you get the best pictures. Once the guide is finished we will have additional time to explore on our own. After finishing the visit, we will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes where you will have time for lunch (lunch is not included) and extra time to explore Aguas Calientes. At the indicated time, you will board the train that will take you to the train station in Ollantaytambo.

Ollantaytambo

Upon arrival at the Ollantaytambo train station in a wonderful trip of about 2 hours, our transport will be waiting for you to take you back to the door of your respective hotel in the city of Cusco. Estimated arrival time 7:00 p.m. approximately. You will have the night off and we recommend you sleep early because the next day we have the challenge of the hike to the Mountain of Colors.

Vinicunca Mountain

This adventure begins with the pick up between 4:30 to 5:00 a.m. depending on where your hotel is located in Cusco, once everyone is in the vehicle we will go to the south of the city of Cusco, the trip will be around 2 hours to Cusipata, place of our breakfast, then we will continue for another hour of trip in the minivan, where we can observe llamas, alpacas and local people. by the way. In Phulawasipata it will be the starting point of the walk that is approximately 1 or more hours, depending on the pace of the walk, here you will also have the option of renting a horse if you do not feel well, (remember that the mountain is over 5,000 m.s.n.m. From this point we will have the best view of the imposing mountains such as the Ausangate. After this we will descend for an hour to take the transport to the lunch point again in Cusipata, to finally go to the city of Cusco where we will arrive approximately between 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. to Cuzco.
